      Tony wraps an arm around her waist, pulling her as close as he can get her. They’re all scared and he knows it. There’s no telling what might be around the corner, who’s going to succumb to the sickness next. It’s a terrible way to live, but he likes to think that at least they have each other (as cheesy as that sounds). He wants to think that everything will be okay, that they’ll all make it through, but now he’s not so sure.

      “You’re always one for the dramatics, hmm?” he teases, pressing a gentle kiss to his temple. “Well, I’m still around. Aren’t I? We’re going to figure this all out. I swear we will.” He knows he’s useless in most fronts: he’s never been good at science, and Felix seemed to be making a lot more headway in terms of information. But at least he was here now. That had to count for something, right? “But our first step should probably be to get you off of the glass. Why don’t you ever wear shoes, huh?” he teased, trying to lighten the mood.

Okay so I can't tell if you mean clone/clone ships (what people usually mean by cloneshipping) or just 'ships that have a clone in them.'

If you mean 'clone/clone' ships, then I don't actively seek them out, but I don't care if I run into them. I'm very "there were hundreds of thousands of adolescents in a single city with no one but 'shitty dad and his friends' and 'scientists who treat us as subsentient,' so things probably happened" about clones and their relationships with each other. Unless they were engineered to have no sex drives at all, I can't imagine there weren't at least a few experiments with clones that were unfamiliar enough to not hit the Westermarck effect.

I don't think I have any favorites? Maybe Fives/Echo, though I prefer them imagined as 'we decided we're twins' in canon aus and actually twins in modern AUs. I do know that I like the idea of Rex and Cody tag-teaming Anakin, though.

Peeves are the standard 'oh, this is getting... the racist kind of fetishy, let's uh let's not.' (As opposed to the 'I want to hook up with twins' kind of fetishy, which is a separate thing that's much less irritating.)

If you mean clone/other ships, then I've got plenty! I do like most clone ships where an effort is made to acknowledge and work with the power differences. It's not always easy, to balance out the 'I respect you and your skills and personhood' with the 'not-technically-white savior complex' you can get with, say, senator ships, but it's really satisfying when it's handled well.

Favorites are definitely Anakin/clone ships (where the clone is either Rex or a CC) because I feel like he's very intensely weird about relationships in a way the clones would appreciate without Anakin himself getting "I can save you all!" in a way that's... looking down on them? He's got that 'I'm not legally a person' background but he's also, just, so fucking weird about it. He goes to commit murder for his partner in a way that could be savior complex, except they've seen him do the same thing for Obi-Wan, for Ahsoka, for Senator Amidala, for a literal droid, so it's not a partner going 'I get to pat myself on the back for helping the less fortunate,' it's just... Anakin being Anakin. He gets that they don't want him to fight their battles for him but he would still like to offer up his Murder Things Skills if they want to use that. He's very "please ask me to kill for you" because he's just that specific shade of insane.

Obviously read a lot of Codywan and a decent amount of Blyla, but I've also been getting really into the Obi-Wan/Alpha-17 side of things, I've read a few that are really fun and I want to see more of that, I think.

Peeves are, as you've probably guessed, the really intense racial fetishization I see a lot, the white savior vibes a lot of ships get, but also 'clones were engineered to have larger genitalia' or otherwise They Are Hung In A Startling And Impressive Way, because I just. It's such a thing for people and a lot of the time ends up intersecting with the aforementioned racial fetishization and it's just... why. Why is this the way people have fixated.
