so i finished the Ahsoka novel a billion years ago, here’s a last dump of feelings about it, in a very haphazard order:
We're already mentioning master Plo because a mum who always put others’ needs in front of her own reminds Ahsoka of him. I cry
That adorable thing about brushing her montrals (am I thinking about the “brushie brushie” meme with the bat? for absolutely no reason? yes)
"The other kind of family is the one you find." Ahsoka though how the clones, even those who had never met defaulted to calling each other brother. She had though it was because of their genetics and military connection, but maybe it was something else. (ALL THE CLONES FEELS)
Ahsoka never did well when she was bored (my precious adhd child raised by the mostest adhd master)
Aww, Ahsoka thinking of whose advice she'd like to follow and thinking about Padmé. I know, bb, she was the only responsible adult in your life - barely (that post about the pt trio being all equally dumbasses except Obi and Padmé are better at hiding it? absolute truth)
I’m sorry but the Obi-Wan POVs are HURTING ME. "He had gone to Shmi Skywalker's grave to apologise for losing her son" & "it was all that was left of the man who had been, often simultaneously, Obi-Wan's greatest annoyance, his brother and his closest friend" how fucking DARE YOU im cry
also Bail POV made me cry bc how he worries abt everyone and wants to save the galaxy and how much he wants to protect precious tiny baby Leia
The droid was trustworthy and capable of defending himself. Bail would just have to make sure not to leave the droid [Artoo] alone with his daughter in case either of them got any ideas. LOL. Leia and Artoo being reckless? Preposterous! (i know it no longer counts as foreshadowing since ANH has been out for 40 years, but it still made me cackle)
also artoo is the most competent character in this entire franchise, i'd vote him for chancellor
Obi-Wan thinking of all the people he's lost and he thinks of Cody right after Anakin t.t
