Soulmate au (draw on each other’s bodies) trobed
Troy, not a nerd, doesn’t like having nerdy Star Trek doodles and doctor who quotes and iron man theories written on his body. Especially because in the locker room everyone else just has to do lists groceries and small abstract drawings. So he writes angrily for his nerdy little girl (he’s a hetero football man obv) to stop. (Maybe he will secretly remember each movie soulmate really likes and when alone watch it) it’s better to have no soulmate than a cringe one because again hetero football man don’t like emotions and being tied to one girl. Also he only ever draws dicks, boobs or math equations to cheat. Or girls phone numbers. (When people write on his cast, would that show up on abed?)
Abed does stop. He uses a notebook for his movie thoughts (or uses invisible ink that he can reveal with his flashlight) he’s slightly hurt and confused as to why his other half is so mean and different and hateful of him. (He decides soulmates are BS(?))
At greendale college, everything is like canon, abed never draws on himself, Troy without his football team doesn’t get ducks drawn on his face while drunk at a party and is actually studying so doesn’t really need to cheat. They are clueless. But abed is very passionate about the movies soulmate was. And maybe the 7 start talking about their soulmates? And then they get together with an angsty misunderstanding guilty confession and the world is happy again.
