Find ways to make small, DIY pride flags.
Maybe it’s not a good idea to put a huge homemade rainbow flag in your room, but depending on the flag you might be able to pass them off as your favorite colors. For example, I’m abro (which most people don’t know about anyway) and the colors of the flag are green, light green, white, pink, and dark pink. I’ve managed to convince people that I just really love watermelons and think they’re the cutest. If you’re trans you could convince people that you think blue and pink (or red!) go really well together. If you’re ace you can get things with a gradient grayscale background and purple accents.
Draw a little flag only you can see somewhere
Set your phone background as something inconspicuous
Decorate your room in colors like your flag
Find random things you like with similar colors
Make a friendship bracelet
This isn’t really about coming out, but it helps to have little bits of daily, personal affirmation while closeted!
