Summary
Agent Jackson of Weapon X goes to talk with Deadpool about his increasing expense bills, which includes having a party of hookers and a giant statue of himself.
CLOTHES [Deadpool sports a new "Weapon X" look
Agent Jackson brings Deadpool in on a field assignment with Kane.
QUEER [Deadpool to Kane]: Hey, do you get ESPN in there? The yanks are playing--hey waitasec...this ain't a dial I'm twisting...it's a NIPPLE! Gee, how embarrassing--me VIOLATING you like that. 'Course maybe ya don't MIND it so much now...maybe they turned you into a C-3PO while they were at it if ya know what I'm sayin'
Deadpool continues to goad Kane while the other men scout ahead.
ROMANCE: [Deadpool to Kane]: Vanessa always came back to ME when she was done with YOU! Ooooh, now THAT got your attention! Got ya right in the ol' carburetor, now didn't it? That's right--no matter how much I MISTREATED her shape-changing little heard and no matter how much you DIDN'T--she ALWAYS came back to the guy with the gun who was fun at partise--and that KILLS you.
CABLE [Deadpool to Kane]: You've always been in somebody else's shadow all your ultra-pathetic life--Mine, Wolverine's, Cable's...hell, you even had Weapon X turn you into a K-Mart version of ol' glowing eye!
Kane grits his teeth but manages to brush off Deadpool's goading telling him that "I'd love to see the expression on your face when you learn the truth". Before Deadpool can find out what Kane meant, they see the damage the new mutant has done in Detroit.
When one of the men panic at the sight of the destruction, Kane shoots and kills him. Deadpool is unimpressed with the changes in Kane.
Kane and Deadpool enter into the destroyed part of the city and find the mutant that has been causing problems. Kane immediately has his guns out but he is blasted by the mutant's powers. Deadpool cautiously approaches, trying to calm the mutant down.
Deadpool calms the mutant down with "my mama" jokes. The mutant laughs, calming down enough for him to opwer down, at which point, Deadpool discovers the mutant is just a kid.
CHILDREN [Deadpool kneels down beside the kid and talks to him to calm him down]: It's OKAY, junior. It's over now and we're going to get you some HELP. What's your na--
Kane used the chance to shoot the kid in the back, killing him. Deadpool is shocked and horrified
CHILDREN [Deadpool narration]: Tell me he didn't do what he just did [Deadpool punches Kane]: He was just a KID, you pussbag! I had it under control, you psycho!
Kane tells Deadpool that if he's going to get squeamish everytime they have to eliminate a target, then there is no play for Deadpool in Weapon X, and slices off Deadpool's legs.
HEALING [Deadpool's legs very quickly regenerate.]
Deadpool storms into the director's office.
CHILDREN [Deadpool]: I don't kow what kind of DIRTBAG you think I am--but I DIDN'T sign up with this outfit to kill KIDS!
Deadopol then discovers he is unable to shoot the director because the agents are "equipped with a a device to mentally inhibit them from harming" them. The Director then tells Deadpool there is a new mission--to find and recruit the shapeshifter mutant, Vanessa!
ROMANCE: [Deadpool narration]: All the time I've spent with Vanessa lately--she was NUTS. That EXPLAINS all the fun times we had together. The director's got me by the family jewels and he knows it.
Deadpool begrudgingly agrees to bring her in, when the director corrects him, that the mission isn't to bring her in--it's to kill her.
