I've definaletley mentioned before that its useful for me to have sims walking around in school uniforms casually- well as I'm apparently allergic to making new meshes, here's some separated FT tech cardigans in solid colours inspired by school uniforms (but useful for more outfits!). Admittedly, I made these a while ago before my computer broke. But I actually remade them after I fixed it, because I thought the shadows on the original versions were a bit harsh!

Original meshes separated out by Aikea Guinea, Trapping and Skell are included. For CU-EU, everyday, formal + outerwear. In 16 Curious B colours, available as standalone or repo: CU, TM & EM repo to AM, TF & EF repo to AF (so you can potentially have different colours for mascs and femmes).

This ask gave me a bit of a kick up the butt to fix one of the things that bugged me most about the HHS kimono options - that the men's hakama uses the same shoes as the BV yukata, two tongue geta with bare feet. If you don't know formality, that's nearly the least formal footwear you could be wearing (after like, rush sandals or just barefoot I suppose), and it's been super weird all these years to see my men turn up to formal events with the wafuku equivalent of a 3 piece suit with tennis shoes. Formality- kaku- is a really big deal in wafuku, and my autie brain just won't let it go.

So you've got a few options here. I've packaged the mesh edit and texture edit separately, so you can have one or the other if you so wished. This is mainly because the mesh edit is the most basic kind of default there is, swapping out the original GMDC with the new one that has the tiny edit of moving the soles of the geta down over the tounges to turn it into a zori shape. still looks like wood, but isn't glaring. This means however that it affects any existing recolours of the hakama, and if for some reason you still wanted those to have weirdly informal footwear, you could forego the mesh edit an keep the original, but have the HHS hakama show up with tabi if you download just the texture default, which simply switches out the textures for ones that I've edited to have tabi. For the correct kaku formality I'd recommend installing both however.

Now this mesh has thankfully been converted for all ages and genders! So I've gone through and added my zori edit to all of them. These are originally by Mijutaro and @whattheskell.

You'll need to delete out the old meshes and overwrite them with mine for them to show. I haven't included the texture files, which can be found repo'd for EM and TM here and for CU, AF and TF here, as well as the PU versions I uploaded here, but I've still no clue who they came from! There's also some older recolours banging around on MTS I believe.

I’ve been working so hard at my brand that the itch to make CC has become hard to ignore! I needed a new HH kimono recolour PSD base for another project as my methods have changed a bit since the last one, so I ended up making a bundle of basics for your wafuku-enthusiast-about-town and tea ceremony guests!

First up, Iromuji for the ladies! these come in 86 colours from Aelia Jewels (swatches), Lonesome (swatches), and Retro (swatches) pallettes + Kinu Hanakotoba (swatches) and Poppet Lonesome (swatches) for variety, with various patterned obi. Some are more traditional style, while others are more retro, modern, or kawaii kimono hime type style. TF-EF, everyday and formal, there are options where the other ages are repo’d to AF if you fancy saving some space! I also popped the colours on my kimono mannequin mesh (included) for decorating your lots with! Meshes for TF and EF by Skell included as well as my new PSD for your own colours!

For the men, I tweaked this Mercury mesh a bit to have morphs, and converted it for TM (both included). I’ve made 12 tsumugi style recolours using some Aelia colours and some Lifa Neutrals (swatches) with coloured or Maxis obi. I’ve also included a PSD for this and a repo’d option for TM! Available TM-EM, everyday, formal and outerwear.

Sooo yea, I needed some kimono recolours for EF for some NPC replacements I’m making (which are actually over halfway done now! yey!), and I didn’t think any of the ones I had fir them, nor did I know exactly what I wanted.

So I made 20 of em.

The style I was aiming for is ‘mature’ rather than my usual kawaii style, so these ones are more suitable for older ladies, with more regular tastes. I tried to draw on my experience seeing ladies in kimono in Japan for the coordinates and what kind of nagagi they’d usually wear, so I ended up making outfits with komon, edo komon, iromuji and omeshi. (side note, I got a really nice omeshi from tokyo flea market once. here’s me wearing it.)
