Hey there, dear anon. First of all, welcome to my blog, I hope you'll have a good time here. <3 Secondly, thank you for your request. This is not a scenario though since I only take requests for headcanons at the moment. I hope you don't mind that little change.

It scares the living daylights out of him when you tell him that you’re pregnant, to be honest. He never thought about starting a family, not in the world you’re living in, and he also has no idea how to take care of children, so he’s pretty insecure about the whole situation. It’s something he never expected and he probably needs some time alone to come to terms with the fact that he’s going to be a father.
However, Cloud would never leave you and your unborn child behind, no matter how scary the situation is for him. Family is incredibly important to him and he’s ready to take responsibilities for you and the child, even when he’s not super excited about your pregnancy at first. It doesn’t mean that he’s not happy though; he just needs some time to get used to the thought of having a kid.
He’s already pretty protective when it comes to you but now that you’re carrying his child, he gets even more protective. There’s no way he’d let anyone harm you and he does everything in his power to keep you safe and sound. It can be a bit overwhelming and even annoying sometimes but Cloud just wants the best for his little family. You’re so important to him and he’d never forgive himself if something were to happen to you or your child.
When the pregnancy starts to take a toll on your body and you suffer from morning sickness and back pain later on, Cloud feels really bad since there’s not much he can do to help you feel better. He offers to give you massages to help you relax but since he’s not particularly good at it, it probably doesn’t help much. You appreciate the effort though because it shows that he genuinely cares about you and your wellbeing. He also starts talking to the baby when they won’t stop kicking to calm them down which is most likely the cutest thing you have seen so far.
Although he’s not the best at expressing his feelings, his actions show how much he cares about your baby. He often places his hand on your belly, absent-mindedly caressing your baby bump while you lounge around together. When he feels the baby kicking for the first time he’s both excited and a bit scared because that’s when he realizes that you’re rally having a kid soon and that he’s going to be responsible for a tiny human being.
