Panay Cloudrunner Crateromys heaneyi

The second-largest cloud rat, a rodent that is found on the island of Panay in the Philippines. The cloudrunner is nocturnal and arboreal, and nests during the day in the hollow of a large tree. Its diet includes bananas, guavas, corn, papayas, and assorted leaves.

I'd like to feature three endemic species from the Philippines:

Northern Rufous Hornbill

Northern Luzon Giant Cloud Rat

Northern Sierra Madre Monitor Lizard

These can be found in the Sierra Madre mountain range.

I have been hiking some lower mountains along the Sierra Madre. I wanted to feature these beautiful creatures that can only be found here in Luzon. I wish to see them someday.
