How is Keenan’s life fucked up? I’m intrigued.

I assume this question is for me, but! He used to be a social butterfly among his friend group, in that he was always pulling them together and pushing them to make plans for hanging out or to play their ttrpg campaign, but now he's a stressed, antisocial shut-in who only does online classes unless he Has to go in (college student), He's also much shorter with people now, prone to snapping and then shrinking in on himself to apologize before exiting the situation.. less playful than he used to be, just a shell of his former self really...

Without totally spoiling his whole deal in detail, he had a loved one in his life that something very bad happened to, but he can't let them go bc he can't picture a life without them in it, so they are now in his basement where he keeps them. And he refuses to tell anyone else about this, including the other people in said loved ones' life, bc he is afraid to lose them.

That loved one is also who did that damage to his face/horns/butterfly wing, :]
