Hi again, so few updates in general.
Healer cookie is being allowed to wander a bit more now that he's a bit better and probably not a flight risk, though he does still normally just sort of flop down and curl up in whatever corner he can get himself into. Definitely some kind of depressed. I've deployed Smilk as a middle man to try and get the little guy to eat more of his own accord and so far we're seeing some minor successes. Little guy seems to be warming up to him quicker than me.
In more fun news, now that we're more comfortable leaving healer at home by himself again (read:me) me and Smilk went out to the movies! The theater nearby is one of the few places in my rural town with up-to-date cookie amenities so it's always a fun outing choice.
We went to go see Project: Hail Mary and he loved it. (I did too but this ain't about me lol.) he's been quoting rock so much i fear it may permanently change his vocabulary. All sentences now end with "-question?""-statement." or some sort of variation. the amount of times i heave heard "amaze, amaze, amaze" over the most mundane things. The autism is strong in this one. It is really cute though.
He made me get the book for him and i think he has a new obsession. there was a request for grey and brown wool and i thing there will be a new knitting project(s) laying around soon.
I've noticed that his more "fount of knowledge traits" seem to get more pronounced when he gets like this, sparkly being the most obvious along with his dough seeming a bit darker. No clue what that means so far, but it is really cute.
