The 10th anniversary of thundercloudshipping (the ship itself NOT THE BLOG) is next month (dont know the exact date) so to celebrate,

From now till the 21st of june i am hosting a pseudo-AMA for thundercloudshipping (Ash x Amy)! You can either ask me about the lore/inspos for the ship directly, or you can ask ash and my si as a way for me to just draw then bein goobers lol

I’m taking a January intercession course and we’re learning about Greek history and mythology, watching movies about it, all that stuff. It’s been great so far. The assigned reading for tonight is from The Histories by Herodotus and there’s this quote:

“There was no cause why they should fear; for after all the invader was not a god but a man; and there never had been, and never would be, a man who was not liable to misfortunes from the very day of his birth, and those misfortunes greater in proportion to his own greatness."

Which is a great quote all on its own, and then it’s immediately followed up with this:

“The assailant therefore, being only a mortal, must needs fall from his glory.”

I don’t know if I have much to say about these quotes other than that I thought they were cool and that I wanted to share, so here they are lol
