New craze #ClownContoring
The new craze on social media #clowncontoring has been all the rage recently. The concept of it is you contour with added designs and added color. It is great if you’re into a lot of product and very creative, but if you don’t use a lot of product and don’t want your makeup to be too heavy I recommend you go with your usual routine. Trust me, if you never try it, you won’t be missing out.

Beauty Bloggers Start Clown Contouring Trend To Hit Back At The Haters
It’s been a mere few weeks since #ThePowerOfMakeup trend, but beauty lovers are still having to defend their right to wear whatever the hell they want on their faces.
YouTuber Bella De Lune had enough of haters giving her online abuse about her love of make-up, so she decided to post a video about it.
And now she’s having the last laugh as her Clown Contouring vid has gone viral. AMAZING.
The US beauty blogger describes in the video how she’s sick of being called a ‘clown’ when she shares tutorials or snaps wearing a lot of make-up.
“Personally I cannot tell you how many times I have been called a clown and many other names, and been hated on, because of the way that I use this art form,” she explains in her video.
“I just did this to show you what a real [clown] looks like!”
So in a tongue-in-cheek response to the haterz, the YouTuber posted a video of her using extreme contouring (aka #ClownContouring) to send a message that make-up can be FUN.
“We did this extreme colour correct highlight and contour collaboration to basically send a message,” she says.
“Even though you don’t need this amount of make-up, or any amount of make-up, to look beautiful, let’s face it, make-up is fun [and] it’s a way of expressing yourself.”
Her Clown Contouring video, which has had more than one million views since being uploaded three weeks ago, has spawned a trend amongst beauty bloggers to flaunt their #ClownContoured faces.
Make-up lovers from across the globe are sharing their Clown Contouring pics to stick two fingers up at those that hate on their love of cosmetics.
We’re totally with them!
