Happy New Year! Got some bad news in with some good stuff today. Unfortunately due to my Sherlock Mini-Bang partner being busier than expected (and finding writing on my own difficult) I had less than a week to try to complete the colours and inks on our comic and I just haven’t been able to do it. I will however still be posting when I do get around to finishing it. Sorry about that. I hope everyone who is watching The Empty Hearse tonight enjoys it.

In terms of good stuff, I got the Barry M Nail Art Pen in black recently and attempted to do myself Calvin & Hobbes snowman nails (bottom photo). I really struggled with using my left hand (this was my first time using the pen), but I managed to turn it into a cool abstract design with minimal effort and I’m quite pleased with result. Can’t wait to try it again.

8 Week Nail Challenge - Week Eight

The final week of the nail challenge! The challenge was something epic. I wanted to do something Halloween themed too, and Costume Quest is absolutely one of my favourite games. If you haven't ever played the game I highly recommend that you do. It's very sweet and so much fun. I always play as Wren. Basic concept is that your sibling is kidnapped by monsters, and you turn into your costume and fight monsters (and collect candy) to save them.

I promised you a better picture, and here it is. I'm also going to do a complete nail challenge post on Friday with pictures of all of my nail challenge nails. Huge thanks to Sharmie for doing this whole nail challenge thing. It's been awesome! Thank you to everyone who has liked/commented on/reblogged my nails. You're all awesome!

8 Week Nail Challenge - Week Seven

As I explained on the wrong blog (ugh I'm really trying here) the challenge for week seven of the challenge is water marbling. I was going to try to do Van Gogh 'Big Bang' Tardis nails, but I didn't have nail polishes in the right colours that would work for a water marble. So instead I have sponge effect nails for you! Behold, my 'A Fistful of Paintballs' Community nails...

I went with all of the card names they had based on the episode. I added splodges of nail polish, but they chipped pretty bad before I got around to taking any pictures of the last step. As you can probably guess, I am loving my nail tool.

My nails for next week are epic and have a Halloween theme (I'm doing them today) and I'm aiming to post on Halloween.
