dont be sorry!! rambling is great!! can u tell me about hyacinth and evelyn, uhhh what happens when they bicker? who cooks more? which one likes to be in charge of grocery shopping? what's their favorite date spot like?
When they bicker, which is a lot more often towards the beginning of things and usually started by Cinth, things tend to get rowdy. Cinth’s magic gets a little uncontrollable when they get emotional, and as a ghost Eve is basically made of emotion? So even of they’re not really fighting the house can get Messy. Iwin doesn’t appreciate it, Errai encourages it. Once they get more comfortable with each other and closer, and once Eve gets the Corporeality Necklace, they Fight a lot less and Bicker Playfully a lot more. Cinth can be loud and stubborn, Eve is surprisingly strongwilled despite her looks.
Eve doesn’t need to eat- can’t really, not without magic. Cinth usually cooks small, simple meals for themself! They’re not especially good at it, but they could survive on their own. Eve was much better at cooking, but its harder when you’re incorporeal. She’ll sometimes help guide Cinth through it, teaching them how to make delicious recipes she vaguely remembers from her Life. Cinth tries not to make a big deal out of meals- they know Eve would never admit it, but food (especially sweets) is one of the things she misses the most. They may or may not be researching a way to let Evelyn eat food while keeping the taste- so far they can make food Go Ghost, but it the taste vanishes as well.
Cinth tries to be in charge of grocery shopping- they’re the only one in the household who’s, like, alive and needs to eat, not counting Iwin bc hes a cat. Eve helps out when she can, and is the more organized of the two by far- she tends to make lists and help Cinth follow them when it comes to shopping.
To be honest, their favorite place to go on dates would?? Probably be the Extensive back gardens of the house. Eve has kept the gardens thriving and healthy for, well, decades probably (through ghostly emotion magic more than physical tending, usually, but flowers are one of the few things it’s easy for her to interact with when not wearing the amulet), and Hyacinth grew up a plant witch (although theyve branched out to Many Different types of magic now). They often take long walks together through the gardens, talking and tending to the plants, just enjoying each other’s company. The gardens are most beautiful in the moonlight, Cinth has discovered- and so is Evelyn.
