Desert: Keira, I hope you had a great time here. I know we didn’t really get you a ton of answers, but I hope you got a better idea of what your dad was like.

Keira: I did. You were a lot of help, Auntie Iris. I really appreciate it. I’ll see if I can schedule a time for all of us to make a Manehatten trip.

Timber: Mom, we’re going to catch Keira at the games, right? She did make it in after all. Desert: Course we will! We’re absolutely going to see you at the games. Keira: Great! I just hope I do well. You can bring Ruby along if you’d like as well. It’d be great to see her there. Desert: We’ll see about that. She might be busy, but that’s still a ways away. Anyhow, have a safe trip back!

On the way back to Ponyville, Keira decided to read through one of the books that Ruby had given her before she left. She was so entranced by it, the trip home seemed shorter than the trip there.

But as soon Keira got back to Ponyville, she saw Applejack and Rarity waiting for her. They did not look happy at all. Keira: Girls? Are you two alright? Rarity: Your “love” got the two of us sick and is now ruining Twilight and Cadence’s time together! Applejack: He made up this crazy sickness called the Blue Flu and gave it both to us. Keira: Wait! Slow it down. Tell me everything that happened from the beginning and if you can, tell me where he is now.

Keira: I don’t know, but maybe we should check it out! After all, I don’t see Rainbow Dash out here in the market often.

What an amazing way to start off Pony Prom. Clutter took me to the gardens in Canterlot to do some stargazing. It’s a little something we enjoy doing when we can. Honestly, surprised he remembered with all the work he does...

Pony Prom Pt. 8

While Rarity dug through her many dresses she had designed, every pony else had waited in the main room. Sweetie Belle was having a good time watching on Alister and Ruse, but was having a far better time listening to Clutter Bone bickering with Heartistry over menial things.

“See, this is why I told you to get a job. So you don’t have to keep mooching off off of me like this!” he nagged teasingly. Heartistry just folded her ears and grumbled lowly.

“Is this a normal couple thing?” Sweetie Belle asked the pegacorn. She grumpily nodded her head in response, which made the young unicorn chuckle.

The shop bell rang, and behind the door came Keira. Ruse stopped playing for a moment, sat down, and excited cooed, “Mah-mee!” Hearistry, Clutter, Alister, and Sweetie Belle also greeted her.

“Hello, my little Rusey. Sorry I had to run off so suddenly. After changing Ruse’s nappy, I realized I ran out of them, so I had to hurry to the store to get more.” Keira explained, “Thanks again for watching Ruse, Sweetie.”

“It was no problem. Him and Alister were fun to watch. By the way, do you and Discord annoy each other like Hearts and Clutter?” the filly asked. Heartistry and Clutter did their best to play it cool and act as if nothing happened. Keira was really confused and was about to answer her question when Rarity came along.

“Keira! Glad to hear you’ve returned! I think I have an absolutely dashing ensemble for the upcoming prom! If you’ll just come with for a while. I’d like to see the whole thing in one piece, mane do and all.” she said hurriedly. Either she had been eagerly waiting for a long time, or was just really excited to pretty some ponies up.

“Wow, already? Was I really gone that long?” Keira responded, “Yes! Let’s see what you’ve picked out, though I’m sure it’ll look great. You always have the best styles.”

“Thank you, darling. And Heartistry, I’ll be looking for you next once Keira is finished, so don’t go too far.”

“You got it, Rarity!” she replied casually. The white unicorn smiled and requested her younger sister to watch the draconequus child just a little longer, which she accepted happily.

“You behave for Sweetie Belle, Rusey. Mommy will be back in a little bit.” she cooed to the baby. Ruse flopped down on his belly and smiled as she left with Rarity. He normally wouldn’t have been so calm, but since Alister was around to play with, it was as if he didn’t mind at all. After Keira and Rarity disappeared, the pegacorn playfully tackled her colt friend and forced him into a tickle fight, which left Sweetie Belle to wonder who the real children were: Alister and Ruse, or Heartistry and Clutter Bone?

Since Clutter didn’t have much to do, it didn’t take long for him to get done. When he came out, Heartistry blushed lightly. She didn’t notice Alister had flow away. As a matter of fact, no one did but Ruse, who was watching him go.

“Hunny! You look amazing!” the pegacorn cooed. Clutter Bone chuckled coyly and smirked. He wasn’t one for words when received a compliment.

“Rarity! Behind you!” Sweetie Belle suddenly yelped, which caused everyone to look in Alister’s general direction. All but Ruse became concerned, but none more than Rarity.

“Sweet Celestia! Get back here you ruffian!” Rarity shrieked as she chased after Alister. Heartistry wanted to say something, but didn’t and instead watched as Rarity managed to subdue the baby wyvern with her magic.

Since Alister had the least amount of clothing to put on, Rarity held onto Alister while placing the bow around his neck. The baby wyvern peeped and flew back to his adoptive mom. Ruse giggled and smiled upon seeing his friend dressed up.

“All finished! And might I add you all look dashing!” Rarity said proudly, “Now then, would you like for me to hold onto the outfits or will you wear them out?”

“We’ll wear them out, thanks.” Heartistry said for her group.

“Ruse and I will do the same. Thank you so much, Rarity!  You have no idea how much this means to us!” Keira said.

“No trouble at all, darlings. I hope to see you all in Canterlot this weekend!” Rarity chimed. Another wave of thanks were given as the group of five walked out the door, ever so excited for the upcoming Pony Prom.
