In this clip we see Brigitte Bardot singing the Serge Gainsbourg song “Contact!”, wearing a Paco Rabanne dress, in front of multiple artworks of kinetic art like those of Nicolas Schoffer, Gregorio Vardanega that pulsate, move and rotate, giving a resumé of the visual language of the time.
Woman in Chains, Henri Georges Cluzot
A year later (1968) Henri Georges Cluzot made the film “Woman in Chains” (La Prisonnière) which takes place entirely in the context of kinetic art. The artworks for the film were given by the gallery of Denise René, who supported greatly kinetic artists at the time.
