This activity was also using Robin Morrison’s pictures. I had blown them up and we had a great discussion about adding in the emotions of how people felt about the dam. The children then wrote mock letters to Mr Muldoon pretending to be someone who had issue with the dam development.

Students from Alexandra Primary School enjoyed their visit to the Clyde Dam. They loved seeing the Dam in action and talking to the  people who work there.

“My Grandad worked on the Clyde Dam to do some concrete blasting and putting up pilars from the bottom of the dam to the top of it. He’s glad he’s not there now because of the job being dangerous.”
