Odysseus: Let's wait for the cyclops to come home and ask him for a gift. It'll be fine :)
Narrator: It was not fine.

15% Arabic loanword at some point
14% Miscellaneous origin

Orestes blotted out by the sun
Someone said this was an odd reading habit so now I’m wondering.
I switch between formats while I’m reading books based on my mood (sometimes I’m in the mood for an audio book/ebook/physical copy.) And I will switch multiple times writhing the same book.
Do you switch between different formats when reading the same book?
I switch between all formats based on mood (audio/ebook/physical book)
I switch between two formats (audio and text) within the same book
I exclusively use one format and never switch
I switch formats but only with different books
Example I will read the ebook version at night and play the audio book while I drive to work. And might even switch to a physical copy (if I have it/ if I’m at the library.) I prefer to read ebooks because I can take notes while I read right in the app (if I’m reading a different way I will come back to my ebook and add my thoughts as a note)
Progress on my Cleopatra & Livia painting :D
I’m shockingly happy with how this is progressing. When I finish it, I’ll write an extended analysis about the parallels in their lives to go along with it
How can u worship all the gods at the same timeWhat if I don have space for all altars or things to offer all of gods
The long and short answer is that you can't, which even the ancient Greeks knew.
That's why they didn't worship "all" of the gods. They instead had city-specific pantheons, comprised of several gods, under several epithets, which were worshipped across many holy days and festivals, or whenever individual mortals wanted to honor them.
I don't have an altar for every god.
I have a single altar stone (it's a garden statue pedestal, btw) that I use for many gods depending on who I am worshipping on a given occasion, holy day, festival, etc.
Here I am worshipping Kypris, Apollon & Hekate, and Zeus at different times, on the same altar.
If I'm in a position where I can't make or purchase gifts for the gods, I know I can always fall back on the humble libation.
Libations may seem simple on their face, but at their core, pouring one is an irrevocable, totally sacrificial act.
You can never unpour a libation, and it only requires as little as a single drop of water to count as one.
