one thing i really like is when a character acts jealous/posessive over their love interest (or potential love interest), they have the same energy towards their platonic relationships too. I can't pinpoint the scene, but I remember Annabeth/Percy being jealous about something regarding Grover. And idk the details or if I'm remembering wrong LOL.

anyways, assuming that scene wasn't a figment of my imagination, I really really like that. It made me cherish the trio's friendship more, and it made me appreciate percabeth's friendship and development more too. Does that make sense

So I was just thinking of how would Merlin will deal with the fact that Cyran is untouchable bc his noble family, being court mage chief, and the fact his influence is directly inside the royal family.

Without evidence and prove that Cyran did all that shit, Merlin can't do anything. And even with evidence, those could be disadvantage. Unless, Merlin has ally.

Cyran has allies in nobles and his family is the noble themselves.

But that doesn't mean Merlin didn't have one. It's could be just really close friend tbh, or someone that once fought in war with Merlin. And the fact that one of seat in Arcana Council is having contact with lightbearer empire could be good too.

All Merlin needs is find someone in that damn castle to see if he does happen to have friend in there. It's could be whoever gifted the chess king or someone else... Arthur maybe? That can help him take Cyran down.

You can't tell me this mf didn't have at least one royal family that would help him if they knew this.

Merlin, you need pulling strings too y'know.

Did you guys know that when one or many of your characters died in a battle, you can hear a church bell being ringed 3 times after the battle ended. If i'm not wrong, it's symbolize a Death Knell.
