when is see lost trio hate but THEYRE HATING FOR THE WRONG REASONS
i love lost trio because all their duo friendships are different flavors of hurt and it's so fun to play around with them. Like piperleo jasonleo and jasonpiper hurt in different ways, jasonpiperleo hurts in a different way too. It's. so. Fun. Ha. Ha. I love it here.
Also I just read a platonic jasonpiper fic and I cried like a baby LMFAOO god they're so dear to me, you have no idea. Outside of the mess that is Rick's fixations with couples, they truly care for each other and it fucks me up everytime
Sometimes I think about Leo and his loneliness and isolation in Mark of Athena and I get super sad. I feel like the 7th wheel thing is a really interesting conflict to have, but there's no significant resolution to it. And it sucks so bad bro. Like I know arcs don't have to end positively to be considered resolved, but Leo's arc was just... Hanging there, it's so frustrating to read!! It wasn't even resolved within the lost trio itself ughhh
Like I know Rick is probably trying to do a call back for this line (below), but idk, it was so badly executed. Ong at this point we need a-spec people to run the world. Or bring back those "power of friendship" "friendship is magic" writers, I'm getting sick of all this romance! :/ WHOA who said that??
Ok on the lighter note, the concept of Leo ditching Jason & Piper to join Frazel's relationship is kinda funny though LMAO. I really need to draw frazeleo soon. They're one of my favorite parts of HoO with the drought of lost trio content. Lost trio barely exists outside TLH anyways, this is funnier
(cmiiw) forever mourning what a missed opportunity it was not to ingrain the prophecy into Leo and Jason's friendship. Do they (edit: the books) like .. talk about it at all? lol. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember it was only brought up a few times, and it barely felt substantial. Maybe I need them to be more dramatic about it. Leo's "death" scene wasn't even sad at all because Riordan didn't let the grief simmer. I need more conflict bro
"what do you mean there's a chance that my best friend is going to die but that fact isn't woven into our dynamic and interactions? Is it not important??"
geez
yknow what... remember when i said i needed the seven to fight more? i changed my mind bro 😂 just make them best friends immediately or something. If that small argument about nico got people pissing in their pants, imagine full-blown conflicts? hate train immediately. ya cant handle anything at this point, grow uppp
I have 62 drafts... This app might as well be my diary (all contain 3am opinions and takes) someone give me a random number and I'll post that one
one thing i really like is when a character acts jealous/posessive over their love interest (or potential love interest), they have the same energy towards their platonic relationships too. I can't pinpoint the scene, but I remember Annabeth/Percy being jealous about something regarding Grover. And idk the details or if I'm remembering wrong LOL.
anyways, assuming that scene wasn't a figment of my imagination, I really really like that. It made me cherish the trio's friendship more, and it made me appreciate percabeth's friendship and development more too. Does that make sense
