Colors can be flexible (ie; if the eyestraining palette is too uncomfortable to work in, I'm fine with his colors being edited/ him being given easier colors), though these are his "canon" colors. Everyone's just fuckoff bright in his world.
Hair in natural form is more flow-y/ floaty. Soft-looking. Hair in disguised form is more sharp. This is intentional. Ahoge also isn't there in his disguised form.
Expanding on the low empathy note:
He can often be/ come off as rude for this, but he does not act intentionally malicious towards anyone. Unless he has decided he doesn't care about showing them kindness, but in general he's not trying to make unnecessary enemies. He still cares for people, especially the few he considers close, his actions are just through logic instead of empathy.
Wording here subject to change because it's been a minute since I looked up what I needed irt understanding low empathy mindsets, but I hope the general intention with how his low empathy affects how he interacts is clear.
The scar on his wing is the result of a gunshot wound that never healed properly, resulting in chronic pain. The whole patch of skin visible wouldn't actually be the scar, but is the result of plucking/ overgrooming because of the pain.
Despite angels having stronger healing abilities than humans (ie; being able to heal faster and more completely from more serious wounds), at the time of Beau's injury he used magic to heal someone else, pulling from any energy he'd have to heal himself. This is part of why his wing injury didn't heal right. Other factors may be nerve damage or the bullet never having made it out, though I have nothing set for that yet.
Full info about his disguising stuff:
Because of the aforementioned chronic pain with his wing, and how wyd! and cn! AU disguising works (it having a physical impact that becomes more noticeable the longer stuff is hidden), he is unable to be disguised for very long. Where demons/ angels without similar physical issues can go disguised for about the whole day, and even a little longer even if they may be pushing it, without causing strain on themselves, Beau's injured wing cannot be hidden for very long before aggravating his pain. 2-4 hours straight is about his limit, and he needs significant rest in between as to not hurt himself/ worsen his permanent injury.
He usually disguises for in-person performances, dates, or quick trips (like to a nearby store). Because of his limits, though, these all have to be quick and he often has to consider alternate routes where he wont be seen if he might hit his physical limit. Most of his time is spent in his apartment as a result (which he would be anyway for working on music), and he often prefers types of performances where he doesn't have to be seen.
Okay with being visibly an angel around people he considers close/ safe, but anyone else and he is extremely uncomfortable and/ or immediately disguises.
Default form when drawing should be his angel form, though context can necessitate his human form being drawn. Human form can be drawn just for fun but its way less preferred. ^_^
