no okay um does clay consider himself human or a monster

* HUMAN    /    MONSTER ?

clay   ,   in a general sense   ,   tends to view himself as both      HUMAN   &.   MONSTER.     anomaly      simply because he’s conflicted on what he is and what he’s become.

he knows   ,   by   his   nature   ,   that he is   human.   his viewpoint on the  human nature  is that it is inherently innocent and untainted   ,   it’s more so  outside influences  that alter the human condition.   he believes   ,   by his nature   ,   he is a      human.   he knows he has   ‘ humanity .’   within his heart lies an unfathomable amount of   love   and   empathy   ,   he connects to other   people   so well because he understands the human condition and the experience.

in some aspects   ,   he also views himself to be a      monster.   he knows it’s   abnormal   to have an incomplete soul.   it’s without a doubt his biggest insecurity.   in reality   ,   he shouldn’t be alive again.   that   ,   in some ways   ,   leaves himself thinking he is something akin to a      monster      because monsters are something to be feared   –   though he isn’t feared by others   ,   and rather himself.

being a   walking   vessel    does have an effect upon his psyche   ,   he really doesn’t like the fact that he is one   ,   and after being used as one so many times before   ,   it does leave him with feelings that cause him to view himself as a monster because his own existence and those that use him as one can blend together at times.
