CO2 Skills: Custom Skill Tokens

SUMMARY The skill-building system in Sims 2 feels limited alongside the complex personality system and custom traits. Being a decent pianist shouldn’t automatically make it easier to paint, spy, DJ, garden, become a career slacker, work as an architect, and play every other instrument in-game. By default, sims can develop at least 40 skills - 4 toddler skills, 7 basic skills, 4 hidden skills, 6 life skills (AL/FT), and 11 talent badges (OFB). This CO2 skills pack expands the existing skill-hobby system in Sims 2 in the following ways:
60+ new skills taken from other games in the simsverse (Sims 3, Sims 4, console titles, etc.).
100+ new skills related to university majors, career tracks, and popular mods from the simsverse.
Separate skills for various instruments, arts, and crafts.
Skill up in several ways - whiteboard, podium, skill books, and travel interactions (walk/drive to…).
DETAILS Basegame Compatible – but skill-related objects and mods may require expansions.
Skills are invisible tokens activated by certain interactions in-game.
Sims can’t develop the same skill twice or gift them to others.
VERSION 3 – JULY 2026 (CRITICAL UPDATE – REDOWNLOAD & TRASH ALL OLD FILES)
Tokens have been re-grouped and consolidated. Instead of 170+ OBJS, there are around 20 now - and you can choose which ones to play with!
Stacked Skilling. A sim who studies baking can sometimes score a few more cooking points at the same time. This sim might also stack teaching or leadership points while leading a confectionery class downtown.
Skilling for Cats/Dogs. Fluffy and Fido will be able to build custom skills too!
Bucket Lists, Collectibles, Romance, Fame/Infamy, Prestige, Theft/Petty Crime, Health Conditions, Advanced Degrees, and Supernatural abilities (aura, charge, thirst, blood rage, ghost mastery, and so on) will give your sims lots of opportunities to show off their news skills.
