JonesiMAT (3 Recolor Sets)
Published: 7-13-2026 | Updated: N/A SUMMARY Now that the Jonesi Blanket mesh has two subsets (HERE) – time to get some recolors for that second subset….Find more “jonesi” recolors on this site under the #CO2jonesiMAT tag. Here are three recolor sets for the 2-subset version of the Jonesi Blanket Mesh. Think of them as a sort of “starter pack” for that second subset, especially if you’re using the Cocomama Quilt Shop Remix set (Simmons, 2026 – HERE). The textures are basic, slightly aged solids and florals.
DETAILS Requires Sims 2. Find the mesh in Deco > Misc The Jonesi Blanket Textile Repository (HERE) is REQUIRED for fabric recolors to display. NOTE: Not all Jonesi recolors are seamless. ITEMS Solid Colors
LACK Colors
Simbury Florals (to match THIS set).

Cocomama Quilt Shop Remix
Published: 07-12-2026 | Updated: N/A SUMMARY This quilt/fabric shop set, originally by Cocomama (2008), has been refreshed and repo’d. Fabric bolts have been remade and repo’d to the Jonesi Blanket Textile Repository (HERE) – you need this version of the mesh to enable both fabric subsets. Shelves, surfaces, and ribbons are repo’d to the Talking Table (EA/Maxis). Original deco items, the (English) magazine rack/counter recolors, and an updated collection file are all included. Find other Jonesi recolors on this site under the #ts2recolors, #co2recolors, #co2repopack and similar tags.
DETAILS Requires all EPs/SPs – may or may not work with Basegame. §150-500 | Surfaces > Shelves | Deco > Sculptures The Jonesi Blanket Textile Repository (HERE) is REQUIRED for fabric recolors to display. WIP: Custom Skill Mod(s) (Progress Note 3)
Published: 07-11-2026 | Updated: N/A
SUMMARY Since simmers are becoming more sensitive to object limits, I decided to try adding skill books to the bookcases rather than requiring separate skill books – gotta conserve those OBJDs where we can. I’ll still make separate skill books, but they’ll be optional or mod-specific. Still makin’ progress….
FINE TUNING PROTOTYPES
A whiteboard to learn/teach the skills.
A template for custom skill majors (IN TESTING).
A functioning study book.
A working notif that displays skill trees (WORKS).
RESEARCH & CODING
Adding "study X skill" functions to all bookcases (almost forgot about loops!)
a template for custom skill careers
options to walk/drive off-lot to do skill-related things in the background (code is there, just need to plug-in the skills and give each outing a name and time frame)
CUSTOM SKILL TOKENS UPDATED VERSION 3 – JULY 2026 (CRITICAL UPDATE – REDOWNLOAD & TRASH ALL OLD FILES)
Tokens have been re-grouped and consolidated. Instead of 170+ OBJS, there are around 20 now - and you can choose which ones to play with!
Stacked Skilling. A sim who studies baking can sometimes score a few more cooking points at the same time. This sim might also stack teaching or leadership points while leading a confectionery class downtown.
Skilling for Cats/Dogs. Fluffy and Fido will be able to build custom skills too!
Bucket Lists, Collectibles, Romance, Fame/Infamy, Prestige, Theft/Petty Crime, Health Conditions, Advanced Degrees, and Supernatural abilities (aura, charge, thirst, blood rage, ghost mastery, and so on) will give your sims lots of opportunities to show off their news skills.

Nooks & Niches as Architecture Part002
Published: 1-21-2024 | Updated: 7-10-2026 (Stair Arch Fixed) SUMMARY “Redoing your downloads folder and looking to declutter your catalog? Welcome in!” Here are additional files from BuggyBooz’s More Nooks & Niches series (2012) – recategorized as Build > Architecture via the Object RelocatorV3.2 (Pick n’ Mix/WHoward, 2023). Since this set contains functional furniture items, choose from two versions. One download contains ALL items as architecture while the other only moves decorative alcoves/arches to Build > Architecture. Only play with ONE version in your game at a time. DETAILS Requires all EPs/SPs. Build > Architecture **Beyond catalog location/hood visibility, the objects have NOT been altered. All existing repo's and recolors will work as intended. The “Nooks and Niches” set contains the file BB_NICHE1_MASTER, which is REQUIRED for all sets to work properly in-game. UPDATE: 7-10-2026 (CRITICAL FIX) The "undefined slot error" on the original Under Stair Arch has been addressed. If you have "simmons-bbnnARCH-extrasMAIN-ALL" or "simmons-bbnnARCH-extrasMAIN-Partial" sets, please redownload and replace old files. This isn't an object I use normally in-game - so credit goes to @nosferatusim for reporting the error.
Stoop Stair Extras
Published: 07-04-2026 | Updated: N/A SUMMARY “…Stoop Kid’s afraid to leave his stoop!” I’ve edited a couple of Buggy’s (2012) stair pieces down to “true 1-tile” sizes – these have less overlap and are easier to use when making curved/corner stair designs (see the bottom of this post for comparison pics). These are add-ons for the Deco Stairs – Various Edits (Simmons, 2025) set but won’t overwrite anything. I’ve also added some other stair deco objects to complete the new set. Find niche-related repos on this site under the #co2repo and #ts2repo tags. These objects can be placed over functional stairs to change their appearance. There are several pieces here you can mix and match – you’ll need cheats to place them just right.
PRO-TIP: For 2-step and 4-step foundations (not full-sized stairs), I recommend putting functional stairs in the middle and deco on the edges where these deco pieces are placed.
DETAILS Requires all EPs/SPs. §300 | Build > Architecture
On the left is the short stair wall and, on the right, are two short stair wall pieces – one on the ground level and another on the foundation level.
On the left is the tall stair wall and, on the right, two have been placed together.
The set includes several stair wall styles and sizes.
ITEMS Deco Stairs – (True 1-Tile Versions) (159-638 poly) Ceiling Ornaments (63-294 poly) Stair Walls (32-88 poly) DOWNLOAD (choose one) STAIR EXTRAS from SFS | from MEGA COLLECTION FILE from SFS | from MEGA This is the same collection file from the previous stair edits set (contains the new pieces). COMPARE THE PICS BELOW: At the front-left of each image, is the new "true 1-tile" cover, in the middle is BuggyBooz's (2012) original cover, and on the back-right are maxis stairs. The latter two stick out a bit because they are slightly larger than 1-tile.

Halo4-to-Sims2 #20: Stair Deco
Published: 07-04-2026 | Updated: N/A SUMMARY The #CO2HALO series includes 350+ architectural objects you can use to create retro, industrial, sci-fi, futurist builds in the Sims 2. Items are more suited for kitbash-style building and decorating – mix and match as needed. Use the #CO2HALO tag to find more Halo-themed content on this site. Ever wanted to build a proper stoop for your row homes? Here is a set of Halo-4-style STAIR DECO objects just for that! There are several pieces here you can mix and match – given their unique shape, you’ll need cheats to place them just right.
DETAILS Requires all EPs/SPs. §300 | Build > Architecture/Columns The MESH PACK and any files with ‘MESH’ in their filename are REQUIRED for these objects to display correctly in-game (linked below). Many objects are oversized, offset, and/or multiple stories high – you’ll need “move objects on/off” and “grid on/off” cheats. Not all items are (easily) shiftable or intersect able, so I (strongly) recommend using OMSPs and/or ONE of the following mods: -Shift Everything (Lamare, 2025; 2022) -Object Freedom 1.02 (Fway, 2023) ITEMS S-Stair Walls Short/Medium/Tall (380 poly) T-Block Stair Walls (~300-500 poly) Side Planters (116-192 poly)

Repository Pack
SUMMARY “…more options…
These objects are repositories for frequently used textures, designed to work alongside BBNiche1Master from Nooks & Niches (BuggyBooz, 2012). For creators, they can be used to recolor objects via the repository method. This minimizes the number of resources needed overall, provides an easy way to test textures/UV mapping, and promotes texture-matching across more objects in-game. DETAILS Requires All EPs/SPs. BBNiche1Master is included for those who don’t already have it, and your existing recolors will still work. You’ll need this pack for many (but not all) downloads on this site. Additional textures will be available here under the #ts2recolors, #co2recolors, #co2repopack and similar tags. Depending on the size, some window frames may cover the edge of the glass image.

JONESI TEXTILE MESH (REPO PACK UPDATE) 07-04- UPDATE (RECOMMENDED): This is the famous Jonesi mesh – with a new shape (38 poly) and second, recolorable subset. It will take the place of my old, unused Textile TXTR Repository (simmons-textile-MESH) file from the Repo Pack (2026). All existing Jonesi Blanket recolors and previously repo’d objects STILL WORK – just remember that they only use ONE Jonesi fabric subset.
Newly repo’d objects can have a second fabric subset (“fruit2” - 512x512).
The object is now called the Jonesi Blanket TXTR Repository (Deco > Misc for $150).
The new version has the SAME GUID as the original – remove/archive other versions of the Jonesi blanket mesh.
Lower poly counts (2463-3167) and a second, recolorable subset has been added to the original blanket and single addon (HugeLunatic, 2009 – includes ‘no cheats needed for placement’ edits). They are now repo’d to the Jonesi Blanket TXTR Repository.
Re-download the Repo Pack (HERE) for this update. My apologies for the inconvenience.
NOTE: Not all recolors of the Jonesi blanket are seamless. Only new recolor files will use both fabric subsets. Older recolors will continue to apply to only one subset.

Sims2Tools Apps - Other Updates
Various changes that have been delayed as I really didn't want to rebuild all my apps just for the sake of it, but as I'm getting more and more reports of my apps failing due to errors introduced by other apps into .package files …
BHAV Finder V2.6
DBPF Viewer V2.2
HCDU Plus V4.6
Log Watcher V2.5
Repository Wizard V2.10
What Caused This V2.3
More forgiving when encountering compressed data with an incorrect header.
Added a feature to delete the application’s registry keys via Shift-Control-Exit
For apps using the game thumbnail caches
Implemented background thumbnail caches, no longer matters if you delete the cigen.package file and the Thumbnails sub-folder
Apps using the thumbnail caches will now open with game running (as not trying to open the locked game thumbnail caches - may still fail for other locked game files, eg, objects.package)
Added a Caching menu with option to remove thumbnail caches
Fix for checking for updates - see here
Hi,
I just saw your Simlife generator. I haven't had the time to look into it in depth, but when I read it's Excel based I got an idea.
I thought once a generating is done, to keep track of it, the info can be put in my SimTracker2.0. As that's an Access based tool...if the Excelfile is made with the correct columns etc, it might be even possible to do the following:
- Generate life with Simlife generator
- Make the excelfile ready for import
- Import the excelfile into SimTracker2.0
It's possible to get a lot of data from the game through SimPE to Excel to SimTracker2.0
But other data than that needs to be filled out automatically and there your SimLife generator might help.
It's just an idea. I don't mind to look into it myself even if it were only for personal use.
Please, let me know what you think of this idea!
Greets,
Lien (Sims2Idea)
Hello! That sounds very cool - go for it! If you can figure out a way to link data from the SimLife Generator and your awesome SimTracker 2.0 program, I think lots of simmers would appreciate that. Feel free to save it for your personal gameplay, share publicly...whatever you want to do!
SimLife Generator (Full Version 1.6)
Published: 6-10-2026 | Updated: N/A SUMMARY “You can tell a better story when you have a more fleshed out character” – Simulation Princess, 2026 The SimLife Generator is an excel-based planning tool for simmers. Use it to create new sims, play with ideas, edit existing sims, tell stories, or get unstuck in Bodyshop/Create-A-Sim. This is an ideal resource for editing playables and non-playables alike.
This tool requires one of the following: Excel 2021 and up, Google Sheets, MS Excel Online (via MS Outlook), Office 365, LibreOffice 26, or PlanMaker.
Some profiles will include both default and custom content – disregard what doesn’t apply to your sim. Sims 2 default items are generated on separate lines for ease (“TS2” or “DEF”).
Select Sims 3/Sims 4 items were included so there is some limited application for those games. Lots of descriptive details are available to help you create unique faces/bodies – not everything will have a literal button/slider in Create-A-Sim (i.e. there is no “dad bod” or “bottom-heavy” toggle in-game but the detail can help you assign unique physical features).
See below for more information.
Only the Excel, Office 365, and Google Sheets versions have the CENSUS tab.
Tutorials/Tips for this will be posted under the #co2tools tag.
DETAILS This tool works best if you have all EPs/SPs - use your own judgement otherwise. GETTING STARTED: On the HOME SCREEN tab, do the following: (1) Enter the total number of default and custom FULL FACE templates installed in your game (REQUIRED for TS2). If you don’t use custom face templates or want to limit randomization to default items, a number between 12-30 is recommended (the default is ~27). (2) Use the drop-down menus to select BASIC GENETICS (REQUIRED for ALL GAMES). The genetic information will sync across all profiles. Select any profile type by clicking on any of the non-gray colored tabs.
RE-RANDOMIZE PROFILES: To re-randomize any profile, hit F9 OR select a yellow/empty cell and hit DELETE until you get desired details. SAVE AS YOU GO: All profiles will re-generate simultaneously every time so you should save/export individual profiles as you go. To save a profile, select the portions you want to export and do one of the following:
To export just the text, paste “values” in another excel sheet or as text in another document.
To export as an image, select Paste > Paste Special > Paste as Picture.
To export for the purpose of additional editing, paste to a separate document or photo editing program.
Depending on the website/app, you may be able to paste the profile directly (e.g. you can paste directly to Discord).
IMPORTANT: Generated suggestions come from a small, Non-AI language model (SLM). Text items are stored in the gray “DATA-“ tabs – DO NOT ALTER THESE unless you know what you’re doing. DOWNLOAD (choose one) Version 1.6 from SFS | from MEGA

AWWWW YEAH.....
To whom it may help: you can "mute" people by adding their username to Filtered Post Content (not tags!) in your dashboard preferences.
Example below ("muted" username in red)
(Muted this person just as an example, don't go making callout posts lol)
Personally, I prefer to just block anyone who's content I don't vibe with buuuuut if you don't like blocking folks for being mildly annoying (or want to avoid fandom drama) and their generically-tagged hot takes just keep showing up on your dash, here's what you can try.
THIS. because ain't nobody tryna see all this bald headed whining. it's MY responsibility to manage my dashboard..so yeah.
