In high school, I decided that I would college based on the basketball teams I loved. Georgetown was at the top of my list mostly because of John Thompson. I knew everything about this school and dreamed of attending one day. To wake up to the news of his passing, just made me think of my youth and then how the great ones are leaving us. Rest in Power John Thompson. Job well done sir.
