hello hello @wolfram-kun iam your secret santa owowowo i-i- hope you like this 👉👈
This is my first Secret Santa EVER! And this set is my gift for “Wish” (@wishmoonlion)^^
The only thing I kind of struggled with was the time I had to work on your gift...This past 2 months have been brutal for me - still, I wanted to give it my all and did not just 1 but 6 drawings!
I wanted to do your zombie apocalypse prompt but given how perfectionist I am it would’ve taken me a year to have it done xD Instead, I went with the Frozen AU as I am quite familiar with the movie and only one scene popped into my head to try and squeeze these two in it! I really hope you enjoy it :D Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!
I suppose anyone will be able to tell which scene I chose, but it comes with a twist:
So, Shiho (as the snow Queen) tells the prince he’s wasting his time and should let her locked up because she has no way of stoping the deadly winter. To her astonishment, Shinichi isn’t convinced and assures her that she can, in fact, do something about it and that he wholeheartedly believes in her.
Christmas boyfriend

Summary:And then it hits him that this is actually happening. It’s Christmas and they’ve come all the way to find each other on Fusae’s doorway. And she wants him to stay, and for once he doesn’t have a reason to hold himself back, for once he might actually have a chance.
Holy shit.
Pairing: Kudo Shinichi | Edogawa Conan & Miyano Shiho | Haibara Ai
Genre and Rating: Romance | T
Prompts: Jealousy, Company (?)
A/N: I got paired with my absolute fave CoAi artist, @n-emone , for this year’s Secret Santa Exchange! THE PRESSURE IS ON. The best thing about this? I saw the jealousy prompt and I was like YES, THIS IS RIGHT UP MY ALLEY! I hope you like this Nem!

It's not that he's heartless (what the hell!) or that he doesn’t want to stay, but see, it’s Christmas, and he’s come all the way from Tokyo just to see her, and she’s here, yes, looking as beautiful as ever with her sun kissed skin and her strawberry blonde hair covered in falling snowflakes that he wishes he could brush off with the warmth of his fingers — but she’s here with him , and the mere idea of enduring a week under the same roof, watching them kiss under mistletoes and cuddling on the cozy lover’s couch in front of the only fireplace in the house, is frankly distressing enough to make him want to eat his own entire hat.
Like he would literally rather choke on his shoe than be subjected to that, thank you very much.
Then she frowns at him and gives him that look, that mix of hurt and total disappointment that feels way too familiar, and he knows right then and there that he’s utterly fucked . Because she, Shiho Miyano, with her icy-cold stares and snide remarks savage enough to bring heroes tumbling down to their knees, holds a piece of his heart so tightly in her hands that he can hear it crush into a million tiny pieces when she catches his sleeve.
Hi @lemonbreadd !!! I’m your CoAi secret santa!

Forget the Fallout, Let’s be Alone Together
Hi @toxicvirgo08 I’m your secret santa and it’s officially Christmas here on the west coast of the states! I stalked your blog a bit and instantly knew I had to incorporate my fav fall out boy album somehow. Hope you like it and I wish you very nice holiday! Please stay safe! <3
Silence greets the detective as he walks into the professor’s home, he’s long grown used to the quiet. The first time it happened he was still trapped in his shrunken form. He panicked thinking the worst, it was just like his partner to disappear as soon as she found that her presence was no longer needed. The Black Organization crumbled from the inside, the permanent antidote was made, there was no need for her to stay. Still, a part of him wanted her to stay, he vowed to protect her, why should that change now that they would be going back to their teenage bodies?
“Haibara? I know you’re still here.”
There was no response, perhaps she did leave already, no she wouldn’t have— not without a goodbye. He heads down to the basement, surely she wouldn’t have left before they celebrated their first Christmas without the threat of the organization looming over them. The professor even promised a camping trip at one of those lodges up in the mountains before the holiday. They promised to both attend just one more time before they would finally reverse the effects of the toxin.
Halfway down the steps is when he finally hears it, the sound of music faintly playing in the background. He doesn’t recognize the artist, it takes him two more seconds to realize it was a song in English. He finds her sitting at her desk surrounded by pages of old experiments before the true antidote was formed. She doesn’t seem to have noticed his arrival just yet, she only stares ahead while listening to the song.
“Haibara.”
At the sound of her name, she immediately stops the song, strange, maybe he should’ve paid more attention to it. She feigns nonchalant as she asks what he was doing here. He doesn’t question her odd behavior, he’s just glad she was still here.
“The kids wanted to do a secret santa on the camping trip, so I thought I would run it by you… you’re still going right?”
“I promised I would go.”
“Right…”
She meets his eyes briefly, he wants to know what she’s thinking. She turns away as she lets out a sigh. He tries to ask her what was wrong, but she shrugs him off, nothing she replied. There was nothing wrong.
The second time he noticed the deafening silence was the day they both returned to their bodies. He’s not sure why he wanted to check on her first instead of running off to meet Ran and tell her he’s back for good, but he had to know that she would be staying.
“Haibara, are you still here?”
This time he doesn’t bother pausing before walking down the basement; she wasn’t there. Maybe she was upstairs in her room, he wills himself to keep a level head, she couldn’t possibly leave with Christmas Day arriving in less than forty eight hours. Just as he reaches her door, he hears the soft beginnings of the same melody he heard before. He barely makes out the words of the chorus when she pauses the song to open the door. He stumbled back in surprise, her arms were crossed and she didn’t seem too pleased to see him.
“What do you want Kudo?”
Truth be told he wasn’t sure what he was after by coming, but he knew she wouldn’t appreciate his honesty here. Instead he turns it back on her with a question he’s been wanting to ask since their last conversation down in the basement.
“What song are you listening to?”
Her face falls for a split second before she composes herself. She had hoped he wouldn’t have paid attention to her minor blunder the last time when she was caught off guard by his visit, but he seemed to always notice things she rather him turn a blind eye to. He never makes the connections though, she’s not sure whether or not she should be grateful her partner knew nothing of a woman’s heart.
“You don’t know the artist. Don’t you have a date you need to run off to? You’ve kept her waiting long enough.”
“Oh, um… yeah… you’ll still be here when I get back though right?”
“Where do you expect me to go? Now leave before I push you out the door myself.”
She closes the door on him, she was annoyed at him, but he couldn’t be happier to know she would be staying for a while. She hadn’t figured out where to go yet, he had time to convince her to stay. As he walks out of the house, he finds himself thinking about the one lyric he managed to make out before she stopped the song.
I’d trade all my tomorrows for just one yesterday.
Over the past few months he’s heard more of the song his partner tried to hide. She must be trying to tell him something, but she would divert his attention elsewhere to distract him. He doesn’t try to force her to explain it, remembering a past experience with Yoko’s song while they were at a kite flying competition. He stayed quiet, enjoying the few moments when he would hear the music playing before she shut it off. He’s grown used to hearing the same melody, so when it changed, he knew something was wrong.
“You’re leaving.”
“I can’t stay in Beika forever.”
“Why not?”
“I’m no longer needed here.”
“That’s not true.”
Six months she stayed as Shiho, she seemed to be doing well, she’s even made friends with Ran after being introduced again. Why would she leave when her home was here? She said it herself, she doesn’t have a place to go, so why leave?
“Haibara…”
“It’s Miyano now. You should at least call me by my actual name.”
“Force of habit, sorry.”
She turns away from him then, he reaches his hand out to stop her. She throws a questioning look at him, it’s not as if she was leaving right at this moment. She removes his hand daring him to try that again. He doesn’t.
“Where are you going?”
“I’m not sure yet, but I have a few weeks before I need to make that decision.”
She doesn’t give him any more details, the only clue she gave was her choice in music shifting from one song to another. He hears it again in the background just as he heads outside to answer a phone call. He wasn’t paying attention to what Hattori was telling him, he was trying to figure out why the songs were so important. The only thing he knew for sure was that it was the same singer.

Music was never a big part of her life, sure there would be catchy tunes on the radio that would inevitably be stuck in her head, but she never paid it much attention. It happened by chance when she walked by a store full of trendy clothes geared towards teenagers. The words were in English, but she’s never felt more connected to a song before. She found herself memorizing the lyrics to look up when she gets back to the professor’s. A few days later the organization that used to haunt her was disbanded, she smiles for the first time in a long time. She remembers looking over at her partner, heart full of relief that this was finally over and they were both unharmed. He smiled at her then and that’s when she realized this was the beginning of the end. Their paths were never meant to cross, she no longer had a purpose here by his side.
The camping trip had been the last fun activity she could experience in her second childhood. The next day her mood was low, today she would be back to being Shiho, she thinks she finally understands why people sought to stay young forever. Her thoughts are interrupted by the sudden appearance of the detective, she hurriedly turns off her music. She wonders if he recalls her telling him she wanted to stay with him and grow up together. She forces the thoughts out, pushing them along with him out of her life. Once alone, she changes the song.

Miraculously her plan to leave is delayed by almost half a year. She’s still planning on departing the city she once believed to be her home, but maybe that wasn’t such a bad idea anymore. Christmas is meant to be a holiday celebrated with family and staying home, but what happens when you make your home a person and they’re choosing to leave? It took him nearly a year, but he finally figured it out.
He knocks on her door with a duffel bag in hand, when she opens it, she doesn’t know quite what to think. He can see her trying to make sense of his arrival, her packed suitcase is behind her. She frowns at him.
“Kudo, what are you…”
“I’m going with you.”
“What? Have you lost your mind? What about Ran?”
“She knows, she actually…”
“Haven’t you made her wait long enough? You’re a terrible boyfriend.”
“She’s not my girlfriend. Not anymore.”
“...what?”
“We broke up a few months ago.”
“I… I didn’t know… you two seemed so normal…”
“So, where are we going?”
“We? You’re serious about going with me?”
“It’s the holidays, I can’t let you travel by yourself.”
“I’ll be fine, you don’t…”
“I don’t know where you’re going, but do you got room for one more troubled soul?”
Her eyes widened in surprise, he knew. Of course he would figure it out. This could be a coincidence, he was just trying to tease her. She rolls her eyes then pushes past him with her luggage in hand, he follows. They’re barely out the door when she confesses she has no idea where she’s going.
“I don’t know where I’m going.”
“But you’re not coming home.”
“... no…”
That’s twice now, and from his smug grin she knows it isn’t a fluke. He knows, she’s not sure what to do with that information. He waits until they’re at the train station to ask where she wants him to buy their ticket to, she tells him to surprise her. A few minutes later they’re boarding the train with no real destination in mind.

The snow is falling outside of the cabin they’re staying in, fitting for a white Christmas. Neither of them have acknowledged anything being different, but they both know that things have changed. She’s surprised when he suggests some light drinking to celebrate the holiday though they really should’ve done that last night at Christmas Eve.
“Never pegged you as the day drinking type.”
“It’s a special occasion.”
She’s indulged in alcohol before, but it seems her previous tolerance has disappeared from her past life, or there was something else at play— she didn’t want to entertain that thought just yet. She wasn’t drunk, but she was feeling warm and fuzzy inside. Her partner looked to be in the same state from the red tinting his cheeks. She looks outside the window to see that the snow was letting up but still falling nonetheless. She watches the snow, focusing on the scenery instead of remembering that they both only had half a glass of wine, nowhere near enough to feel the effects of intoxication. There’s something else in the air causing her heartbeat to race and a smile she can’t seem to force away. He appears at her side and with a brush of his hand against hers asks if she wants to go outside with him, she doesn’t hesitate, he takes her hand in his and together they walk out to greet the icy wonderland.
She smiles and though it’s cold out, the sight warms his heart. She reaches her hand out to see if she can catch the few snowflakes making their way down to the ground. They melt as soon as they touch her gloved hands, the smile on her face stays on. He can’t think of a better place to be then to be by her side. He likes to blame the boost in confidence from the alcohol, but really it was the spark from when their eyes met. She looked up at him, he couldn’t help but be pulled closer and closer to her until they were inches apart. Maybe they weren't supposed to fall for each other, or maybe they were always meant to crash together. Either way he doesn’t care, all he knows is that she’s still here and she’s not pushing him away.
Just before her eyes flutter shut, she hears him whisper Merry Christmas, she wants to call him a dork but his lips are on her’s— silencing the words. Her heart pounds in her chest, this is the moment she’s been waiting for, she kisses him back. Out in the wilderness with snow still falling from the sky, a few good hundreds of miles away from Beika, they were finally alone and together.
