Coronation Week Celebrates Ten Years of Fun
Coronation Week releases for Kingdom Two Crowns co-op micro-strategy and tower defense game on Steam Deck, Linux, Mac and Windows PC. Thanks to the ongoing creative talents of developer Stumpy Squid, Fury Studios, and Coatsink. Which you can find Steam, GOG, and Humble Store. Ten years. That’s how long Kingdom Two Crowns has been stealing our time, our coins, and sometimes our sanity. And you know what? We wouldn’t have it any other way. This year, Swedish indie publisher Raw Fury and developer Fury Studios are pulling out all the stops for Coronation Week 2025. A full-on celebration of a decade of defending crowns, cursing at the Greed, and somehow always coming back for more. So, what’s in the chest this year? Oh, only one of the biggest updates in Kingdom history, the 10th Rulerversary Update. And it’s not just another patch. It’s a love letter to every monarch who ever screamed “just one more coin” at their screen. Coronation Week.
Here’s what you can expect when you dive in:
A brand-new Challenger Island event: Not just any event either. This one drops you into a party-themed battlefield where your monarch must defend and build a massive statue that shouts, “Yeah, we’ve been doing this for TEN YEARS!” It’s a strange combo of festive and dangerous, and I’m here for it.
Party vibes everywhere: Balloons, cakes, candles, even party hats. If you ever wanted a medieval rave while defending your kingdom, your wish has been granted.
New nightmare fuel: Just when you thought you knew the Greed, they come back taller, stronger, and nastier. These towering beasts are ready to ruin your cake—and your defenses.
Kingdom Two Crowns 2.3, 10th Rulerversary Major Update & Decennial Royal Wardrobe for Coronation Week
But that’s not all. Raw Fury also released an incredible Story Trailer that dives deep into the evolving world of Kingdom. It’s a gorgeous reminder of why so many of us fell in like with this minimalist pixel-art empire builder in the first place. Oh, and fashion-forward monarchs: the Decennial Royal Wardrobe is live now. For just $2.99 (or £2.49 / €2.99) on Steam. So you can strut around with three fresh cosmetic options. Because if you’re going to lose your crown, at least do it in style for Coronation Week. And let’s not forget the deals, because what’s a celebration without loot? You can grab Kingdom Two Crowns and the rest of the franchise for up to 90% off during Coronation Week. Even better, if you’ve never played before, Steam’s offering a Free Weekend so you can finally see what the hype is about without spending a coin. For the uninitiated, this is a side-scrolling strategy adventure game where you play as the monarch, throwing coins to build defenses, exploring dark secrets, and fending off wave after wave of Greed every night. Play it solo if you’re brave, or team up with a friend in co-op if you prefer yelling at someone else for not upgrading the walls. All of it unfolds in a beautifully atmospheric pixel-art world that’s now legendary as an indie game. So Linux and Steam Deck players, sharpen your crowns, stock your coffers, and prepare for the party. Coronation Week is here, and it’s time to celebrate ten glorious years of ruling, rebuilding, and resisting the Greed. All waiting for you right now on Steam Deck, Linux, Mac, Windows PC via Steam and GOG for $3.99 USD / £3.35 / 3,99€ with the 80% discount. Regular price on Humble Store.

Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:
About
Worldless is set at a time where the rules of existence remain undefined. Players will explore a shapeless world of two realms, one filled with entities forming their growth and understanding, the other is the place they aspire to. This inevitably thrusts them into a war against polarities in a battle for transcendence.
In this 2D action adventure platformer, players will jump, glide and dash through an indeterminate setting, uncovering its secrets and finding their place within a mind-bending reality.
Along the way are encounters with beings who believe their superiority has automatically earned them a place in the next existence.
