A few years ago when I met him he proudly told me that his suits were machine washable. he was proud to say that his suits could be washed in the washing machine. He was always thinking about what the times demanded. I always remember he was wearing a Cocinella pin at that moment. Gigi was a lone maestro with great skill with creativity and beautiful imagination.
