Enjoying my very last jar of #Culina now that the company has sold out the base that put them in the market, and chased the almighty dollar and joined the others who package their food in carcinogenic plastics. Oh well, at least it will save me a lot of money, and I do still have #cocoyo to help me through when I'm too sick to make my own yogurt. Not being able to have dairy and sometimes not even goat dairy leaves me wishing for other alternatives. This coconut yogurt is one of my favorites and I only just discovered it last year when I was traveling out west. Thankfully, I am able to get it from A few stores on the East Coast now. Creamed Coconuts

Care of Elissa Goodman:

Beginning with half a cup of fresh Coconut Water, blend together until smooth and creamy two cups of green Coconut Meat, a tablespoon of homemade Coconut Kefir, one teaspoon of Probiotic Powder, the juice of two fresh Lemons and of one fresh Lime.

Pour mixture into a glass jar and cover with Cheesecloth, securing with a rubber band and stand for half a day before refrigerating.

Dollop over fresh Mango / Kiwi / Melon.

Just made this epic Smoothie with berries and coconut yogurt. So YUMM! Here it is --> Strawberry-Raspberry Smoothie with coconut yogurt: 2 cups frozen strawberries 1 cup raspberries 2 majool dates * don't forget to remove pits 2 Table Spoons coconut yogurt * I love Coco Yo brand by Tula's CocoKefir * try to stay way from dairy yogurt 1/2 glass water * just enough to get your blender going. Adjust water amount to consistency that you like. I prefer thinker smoothies , so 1/4 -1/2 cup water is perfect for me. Place all ingredients in high speed blender, run for 30 sec . Ready to enjoy! #cocoYo #smoothie #eat
