The snow is falling heavily outside when you decide to rest on a bench and close your eyes. You were absolutely exhausted, between your classes and the extra lessons to get your magic under control you had barely been sleeping. Without thinking, you sit on the bench in the cool night air and pull your legs to your chest, shivering slightly as you close your eyes.

“MC, what are you doing?” Lynt’s voice pulls you from your thoughts and you open your eyes to see him standing in front of you, the worry seeping off his body.

“You have two choices, cuddle me or leave” You snap, curling back up on the bench and resting your head on your knees, completely content on freezing in the snowy weather. A soft sigh is heard and you are scooped up in arms and being held close to a chest. Lynt’s smell surrounds you as he carries you in his arms, his cloak surrounding you.

“Ahh Lynt-” You try to move out of the arms, but they are surprisingly strong as he brings you into the library tower and pulls you against him as he collapses on the sofa.

“That was a lot of work, so now you are cuddling me” He stated grumpily, snuggling you immediately to his chest.

“But Lynt-” you start to protest, but one hand travels to your hair and he starts stroking it, guiding your face into his chest.

“I am all for cuddling you, but there was zero reason to freeze out there. Now put your head down and rest” He sounds gruff as his hands run along your back and you lazily look up to see his eyes are starting to close as well. He wraps his cloak around you, pulling you closer and you let out a content hum. His warmth and the hands around your waist make you more tired.

The last conscious thing you remember is curling your finger in his shirt as his heartbeat fill your ears and the two of you drift off warm, not a care in the world.

My baby acting so strong but deep down I know there's no way he's over MC in a matter of days, not after he begged her to give up on Lynt. Not after the first time he sees her again she's so lovey dovey with Lynt. I never wanted a "Oh but it was all a trick! He wanted her power!" plot from Voltage so badly. This hurts more then Aquia's unrequited love hands down
