How do you feel about SHS and cause of death ending? Why is it even ending? It better have a kick ass ending
How do you feel about SHS and cause of death ending?
Naturally, I’m super sad about it. Cause of Death has meant so much to me over the years and I’ve really enjoyed playing the game and contributing to the fandom. I feel like once the game ends, the fandom (and this blog) will grow more and more inactive until one day, it’ll all just be a distant memory. That’s how it is usually.
I don’t play SHS, so I’m pretty much indifferent about that. I’m a tiny bit jealous that they got a book and CoD didn’t, though.
Why is it even ending?
My best bet is that EA cut their funding because they simply weren’t making enough money. With all those recent server issues and hints at overworked staff and a low budget, I’m not too surprised that this is happening.
It better have a kick ass ending
I hope so too. But with the way things are looking right now…

Let us all pray that the last chapter shows maltara fluff and happy endings for them
Imagine if the writers were like Oprah…
“You get a happy ending! And you get a happy ending! And you! And you too! YOU ALL GET HAPPY ENDINGS!!”
If only, right?

ACETONE FIRE | a kaise fanfic
Okay, so a few days ago, there was a post floating around suggesting that we should somehow play a harmless prank on the CoD Team this year for April Fools.
Somehow, the discussion led to the idea of us all pretending to hardcore ship Kai/Blaise, posting on the FB page some romantic fanfics and graphics and edits and stuff.
And since the day has arrived, I thought I'd contribute to the first of the batch.
Acetone Fire, the story about the incident that led to the forming of this beautiful couple. It all started with a tipped beaker, and led to much more. Soon, she was addicted to him-- his hair, his face, his laugh. The way he always tasted distinctly like barbecued chicken wings...

What the frick a CoD episode every 2 WEEKS?!? What is this
This is logic. The servers were being overwhelmed, and the CoD Team thought it would be for the best if episodes came out bi-weekly instead.
I, for one, actually like this new schedule. It gives more time for cool and creative fandom stuff in between episodes, which is something we need more of.

I love how casually diverse the game is, no one ever comments that hey isn't that weird the fbi agent is INDIAN!!! and a WOMAN!!! No one is like dude captain dont people shat on you for being with a lady they just put those things in and it's never a big deal and I love that because it's usually how it is in real life
Omg yes, and what I really like is that even though they so casually have all these important roles taken by female POCs, they still recognize that problems like sexism and racism exist.
In that Fallon and Yeong side story from a long while back (and I really hope I’m not remembering this wrong because I played it around a year and a half ago), there’s this one scene where Maria (who was just a cop back then) was confronting Jacob about his involvement with the drug cartels. He had earlier commented on how happy he was that more and more women were getting into the field. When Maria threatened to expose him, he laughed and said how nobody was going to believe her because of her sex and her rank. Which was completely true, and she was only able to bring Jacob’s crookedness into the light with help from IA (I think it was IA), who had already been suspecting him.
And Amy (in that scene where Kai swallowed his lucky quarter) standing up for herself like a boss when her abilities were being questioned because she was a young Asian female.

Isn't cool how CoD is so diverse but they don't bring a lot of attention to it like LOOK WE'RE DIVERSE they just roll along with a character of every nationality and I think that's so cool
Yes! I love how they don’t have the “token ethnic character” and the “token gay character” that you usually see in media. These people weren’t just thrown in solely for ~diversity~. Being White or Indian or Asian or Black or homosexual is a part of their person, and it’s not the only reason they’re around.
I totally agree with you. It’s fantastic that they’re not parading the fact around like “Hey look this female captain likes girls and this FBI agent isn’t white! Look at us we’re being sososo diverse!!!1!”
They’re treating it as the characters would treat it. Being a certain ethnicity or orientation doesn’t consume these characters’ lives (as you would normally see in most television sit-coms, for example). And it is very cool :D

Anyone else having the 'unable to connect' problem on the NA episode of New World order pt.2?
THAT'S BECAUSE THE SERVER ISSUE IS BEING FIXED AND WOOOO YOU'LL (MOSTLY LIKELY) BE ABLE TO PLAY THE EPISODE TONIGHT YAY!! Just wait a bit (close the app, etc.), and the chapter should be available very soon :D
