Code: Realize Guardian of Rebirth Saint Germain Route: Yandere Groupie
Yikes...I did not enjoy this route. Cardia had absolutely no reason to love Saint Germain nor did she have any reason to think about how he felt when he was literally trying to kill her. There were so many red flags but she only saw green, like damn. I have been attached to Saint Germain's design and personality the most during this game but he was such a disappointment. I'm also disappointed in myself that I can't ever love those types of characters. Perhaps I can in anime form but when there's an otome mc involved perhaps I can't. I'm not sure but I'm sad that this route was not for me. Now I'm really questioning whether or not I should even bother with buying the fandiscs.
Saint Germain is just the perfect gentleman: hot, kind to women, and willing to help. I know his story is sad so I really want to know what made him the way he is. And I love that his lessons actually teach Cardia where things are in London. I mean no one really pays attention to it in otome games but it is important for her to learn the layout of where she is hiding. Nooo!! I wanted to see him and Cardia dine together in the city! The scene just faded to black…
Spending time with Saint Germain really feels like a whole other world. I’m certain he’s been around for such a long time and I’m excited to learn what an apostle of Idea is. He’s acting so dark and mysterious, like he knew exactly what Cardia was planning. That voice change caught me off guard too. He took her to another mansion…that looks the exact same as the other one. Weird. I’m not sure if the design is really just personal preference or if it’s more relating to the plot.
Man, kind had the feeling it was a setup and that Saint Germain was lying to Cardia. Please don’t let it be yandere! I want to like him so bad…he even destroyed the tracking device so no one would be able to find her. To top it off he gave Finis a permanent death; he’s dead for real now. Damn it he drugged her and is keeping her locked up. And choked her until she was unconscious. I hate this about otome MCs. They always forgive the people who kidnapped and assaulted them for no damn reason. She hasn’t been assaulted in the intimate sense but she’s been physically assaulted and nearly killed. She’s so dumb. Even if Saint Germain has a reason to kill her she shouldn’t be allowed to accepting of being kidnapped.
He even tied her to a bedpost for gods sake. Yet of course she wants to save him and love him. Ugh. Saint Germain has lived thousands of years, though not in the traditional sense. He died and his soul was placed within a vessel. His mission is to resolve the issue surrounding Isaac and his creations. They had Isaac killed because he was trying to play god. Saint Germain had defied orders before when he didn’t kill a child during the Black Death and as a result 85 million people died. Blah blah he didn’t kill Cardia and they live happily ever after.
