did Codeacademy used to be cool? I vaguely remember it being pretty cool, but I just checked it out and it requires you to create an account or log in with social media and has a massive ass-covering TOS/Privacy policy for giving your usage data to “vendors” and using it for in-house stuff 8I
tracked the company through various acquisitions and mergers over the last 3-4 years and it’s now owned by some megacorp investor firm called Clarivate... my personal feelings about that aside, I’m just kinda curious if the site was always that way or if my memories of a chill free code tutorial site are just misplaced?
did some intro to html today. also did another javascript lesson on variables. | 3/100

I have been badly procrastinating on work and studies lately. I’ve been spending these past days with my family, and traveling before summer is over and school starts. I’ve been taking photos editing lately and have started to learn HTML and CSS (again, but for further this time, and am getting the hang of it. And learning/researching more sbout Graphic Design and both UX//UI Design. Baby steps…
Good luck everyone that’s going to school or is studying. :)
