It was with great joy and a humbled spirit that we were able to be a small part of this little girls life. It was merely weeks ago that we set off to help raise money for Hayden, who has been battling cancer. We created a draw called “Destination Disney”. We reached out to our firearm community, Distributors, Retailers, and Manufactures to donate prizes for the draw. To say we had an overwhelming response would be an understatement. Once the draw was created and prizes continued to pour in, we had our community flood the @nasgunsandammo website with Popcorn 🍿 purchases which generated free draw entries, our first order was for $1000 from one person (you know who you are 😉) and many hundreds more to follow. In only 7days the draw wrapped up and the winners were announced. Yesterday evening we had the honour of presenting Hayden and her family with a cheque for over $16,000 dollars. It is our wish that this token from our firearm + hunting community as a whole may brighten up the coming days for Hayden and her Family. The look on her face when she heard the words “Sixteen Thousand Dollars” was absolutely priceless and something I will never forget. All of this was made possible by each and everyone of you that contributed by entering, sharing the message, and donating. We sincerely thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts 🙏. Our community, although vilified you the media, is one of the most outstanding communities I have ever had the honour of being a part of!!! We captured this moment on video and it will be a part of an upcoming episode on @ccfr_ccdaf Canada Down Range premiering on @sportsmancanada Channel in January 2020! I just finished the last delivery of flasks for this year. I never expected that „Elli“ will be such a success and will beat the square „Eugen“ flask. Some years ago Tony from Scarti Lab @scartilabtony gave me a small round steel flask and asked me to cover it with leather for him. I gave it back to him when I met him in Bootroot Ordershow in Zürich. The amazing feedback there made me ask my Flask maker in Sheffield if he could do a round but a bit bigger one. So he did. The secret of „Ellis“ success is it compact size, she just feels nice and hardly anyone makes a covered flask like this.
