YZMA - What’s the biggest mistake your muse has made? THE STABBINGTON BROTHERS - What reasons would make your muse choose to follow someone?

YZMA: Depends on what time in her life you ask her, but so far, her biggest mistake (according to her) was at a desert planet during part of her cadet training period.  The mistake there cost the life of one of the best Galra she’d ever known.  (I’m actually writing that up as a short fic, so more on that later.)

STABBINGTON: They’d have to be worthy of it.  Cairis has her own set of criteria on what makes a person worthy, but top of the line is if they’re not abusive and cruel just because.  Anyone who DOES NOT go out of their way to be cruel and vicious (especially to her) already has top marks in her book.  But she also isn’t going to follow a complete ninny.  She’s not generally given to brutality, but for example...?  Morvok she’d have just shot in the face, point blank, for being cruel and stupid.  And, to be honest, she’d have followed Sendak (despite his cruelty) - up until he went all “Purification Fleet” bonkers.  At that point, she’d have just faked her death and run away, hoping he wouldn’t consider her worth investigating further.

Evfra would be amused… if he remembered what that was… okay, he was amused, but he’d be damned if he let her know that. Evfra merely stared at her with a blank expression, one of only mild interest, then let out a soft, “Hm.”

After that, he turned his attention towards some information his people had brought in and left on his desk before he’d returned from a meeting, and stated, “I was talking about myself...”

1, 6 and 7 for the Mass Effect OC question

1. What would their recruitment mission look like?  ((Mav’s got a mind for tactical skirmishes and fighting with the reapers and subsequent indoctrinated has been an exercise in gorilla warfare. He’s made his way to Palaven and Menae to be of what help he can. Maybe he even already works directly with Garrus there. When Shepard arrives there and after they find the Primarch, he tags along.))

6. Is there any way Shepard or Ryder could get them to turn on them or betray them?  How?  Is there any way to get them to back down once the betrayal is triggered? ((The only way that I could think of would be if Shepard were to ask/order Mav to do something he considers evil. Such as unnecessary loss of innocent life, civilians in the cross fire. Shepard wouldn’t do that. BUT if Shep did, there’d be no talking Mav down after.))

7. What would their loyalty mission look like? (It would break your fucking heart. During the Reaper War, Mav gets word from Carthaan, his homeworld. His family needs him. Shepard, of course, goes with to help. When they arrive on Carthaan, there is nothing but ruin, they’re too late to do anything. The crux of the loyalty mission lies in one action: Shepard can escort Mav to his family home to see for himself that there’s nothing left which will resort in his loyalty. Or Shepard tells him there’s no point, lack of survivors is obvious, at which point Mav goes off on his own and doesn’t return.))

Technology always drew her attention in a way very little else did ... though not the flashing screens that phones and televisions or other things had. So when she heard the person in front of her holding a phone that suddenly started to talk to answer another person’s question? She couldn’t help but immediately be drawn towards that one aspect of the device, her brows raising as she came in close enough to intrude on the person’s personal space ... not that she seemed to really care or notice right about now. Instead, she leaned in closer to the phone with an expression of pure fascination, not quite knowing what to make of this yet. 

“Hello...”

He hadn’t been gone all that long, or so Seth thought. So opening his apartment door to find a stranger sitting on his couch and helping herself to his food has him doing a double take.

Dropping the grocery bag he’d been carrying off on one of the mostly-free counters, he’s already signing a ‘what are you doing, who are you?’ while walking over to try and oust her from the apartment. The fact that she was green could wait in the face of the fact that she’d broken in.
