Once bright green eyes were starring widely at the tall man that was standing right before him. The boy wasn’t exactly sure where that stranger had come from because he had been rather sure that he was alone before. Whatever that meant here, because he already had learned that people tend to just appear out of nowhere appearantly. The scary guy was doing it all the time.

Speaking of... for a moment he forced himself to look away from the stranger, instead looked around to check that the scary one hasn’t appeared again yet. But they were still alone. Only him and that stranger that somehow felt familiar and at the same time not. Something about seeing him caused some pang of sadness, what soon lead to him fighting back the tears he couldn’t explain himself.

“Who ... who are you?”

Was that guy working with the scary one? The boy wasn’t sure but somehow he didn’t felt like he would.

Ever since she had been released from the hospital she had stayed around Den City, rather much to the joy of not only Aoi but the old woman she was staying with. But at the same time she couldn’t help but start to feel restless. After all this time of aimlessly wandering around from city to city... staying at one place so long was slowly getting to her. She tried to push the feeling away. After all she wanted to stay around, wanted to spend more time with Aoi to catch up on all the time they had lost. But yet she couldn’t deny that she ended up running around the city for hours without any destination in mind. Just walking, keeping herself distracted from the feelings. The hurt. The need to run.

Lost in her thoughts she didn’t even noticed the teen that was crossing her way, at least until blue and pink flashed up in front of her eyes and she abruptly came to stop, only mere centimeters away from the other one.

“You...” he somehow felt familiar. Like she had seen him before. But before felt like it had been in another life so... who was he?

•» Tilting his head to the side the young teen was looking at the smaller boy he just had stumbled over on his way back from the bathroom to his room. Frowning slightly one of Yusei’s eyebrows wandered up, even if he couldn’t hold back a yawn.

“Yusaku...? What’s wrong? Why aren’t you asleep?”

After all..it was in the middle of the night. Neither of them was supposed to be awake and wandering around like now and the other one didn’t seemed like he was going to the bathroom as well.

In the end... Yusei couldn’t deny that there wasn’t much he knew about the smaller boy. He had appeared here one day a few years ago but ever since had been mostly quiet and for himself. But in a place like this even something like that wasn’t that unusual.

“Did you have a bad dream?”

Carefully Takeru was peaking around the corner, watching the other boy from afar. For a while now he had wanted to talk to the other one, but hadn't dared to approach him yet for reasons he couldn't really tell.

In all honesty Takeru still was getting used to all of this. After spending half a year into this white room with nothing else but pain and hunger... this big mansion seemed like a dream. That Haru was here was making things a bit better. He he was glad of his friend being around. Someone familiar. Someone close to him. It made him feel a lot safer.

Of course Takeru had realized that all of them had went through the same pain. He. Haru. And the other four kids as well. Except that white haired one that had been living here from the beginning. Takeru wasn't sure how he was connected to all of this yet but the boy he was watching currently seemed to have known him from before. And had spend most of the time around him. Maybe that was the reason why he yet has to approach him?

Biting down on his lower lip he took a step back from the door again, turning around before he flinched hard, surprised of his best friend suddenly standing in front of him. Actually ... Takeru was rather proud of himself that he did not scream because the boy in the other room for sure had noticed him then.

"Haru what...?"

The greenhaired boy tilted his head to the side, a knowing smile on his face. "You're watching him again."

"I..."

He didn't get the chance to explain. Or talk himself out of it for that matter, as he already was grabbed by the hand and pulled inside the room next door. Pale blue eyes wide slightly as he suddenly was standing in front of the boy he had watched earlier. Haruto just tilted his head to the side.

"You're Yusaku right? This is Takeru, you two haven't spoken to each other, right?" he started to talk, totally ignoring the fact that his friend was squeezing his hand even tighter at those words. Truth was.. Haru was rather sure it was the others name, they had spoken a few rather short times the days before but... it were so many new names Haru wanted to be sure that he didn't mixed them up.

『 Yusaku 』

Carefully he ran his fingers through the younger ones hair in an attempt to calm him down at least a bit. He hadn't woken up yet, but it was rather clear that he wasn't sleeping peacefully right now.

There was a slight frown on Ryoken's face as he was watching Yusaku. He didn't need to ask what the other one was dreaming about right now. Since the incident… his father's doings six years had passed already but both of them were still far away from having healed from it.

He still hadn't told Yusaku everything. Of course he knew about Hanoi, mostly because Ryoken had no doubt about the fact that they were searching for him. That his father was searching for him. This man...he hadn't found the strength to tell the younger one about him being still alive yet. Actually… His father was the only thing he hadn't told Yusaku yet, mostly because he didn't want to scare him even more.

A sigh left his lips as he pulled the smaller teen into his arms, squeezing him gently against his chest before pressing a kiss on his hair.

"Hey you." he mumbled quietly into the other's ear. It had become clear rather early that those words had some special meaning to the other one. The effects on him always were impressing him over and over again.

"You're safe now. No one is going to hurt you. I won't let them."

A small frown appeared on the teenagers face, as he was watching the other one from afar. He wasn’t sure who that guy was. Or why he was around this place so often but... he had spotted him a lot recently. First it had been around that food truck that sometimes stood at the plateau down the little path way and that Ryoken frequently seemed to visit, but lately it was more often on his own. Like right now. In the middle of the night.

Ryoken and Spectre still were busy with their plans for fighting the Dark Ignis, honestly... Haru knew that he might should help with it but... things were a bit more complicated since Ryoken had shown him that simulation about the Wind Ignis. Since he learned about how Takeru was thinking about Hanoi and Revolver in general.

In the end Haru couldn’t tell how long he was standing their watching the other one, before he started to walk down the path to the bench the other one was sitting on. He couldn’t tell why he was doing this either, but the next thing he realized that he reached the bench the other teen was sitting on, head slightly tilted to the side. If he thought about it more... he also had seen the other one around Takeru quiet often... were they friends?

“You’re...alright? People usually don’t sit around here in the middle of the night alone?”

Well Ryoken did. But that probably had other reasons..
