♫ -- nose kiss
Andres initial response was to scrunch his nose. He was actually a bit caught off guard by the gesture -- not used to being shown affection with those outside his family. Finally, he smiled a little. "...what was that for?"
[sms; zoe] Guess who's in New York?
[sms; Tou] Oh my gosh. Really? Where are you?!?! I'm throwing on clothes and meeting you wherever you are.
[sms; Tou] Unless you're having sexy time. In which case, I don't know why you're texting me.
Petit Déjeuner
Perhaps it's out of necessity that she swaddles herself in layers of fabric and hurries onto the streets. In late morning, there is still the evening chill, but the sun has risen illuminating shop windows and scattered leaves on the ground. A few other people are moving on the streets, and she passes them without much thought, so long as no one gets in her way. There is no other motivation besides someone else making food.
Part of why she likes this place is because not only are they usually open bright and early, but there is a variety of food available. However, the lights are off. No one is there. This is a huge disappointment, though, thankfully, there seems to be someone else around who is hopefully more knowledgeable than her. "Do you know when they open?"
Strange Meetings – Toulouse and Gerda
Gerda found herself in a strange city. So many lights, the smell of warm bread and cigarette smoke floating through the frosty air. And she felt so utterly out of place among the ladies and gentlemen who were dressed in nice clothing, and here she was, ribbons in her brown hair, a long braid in the front of her hair, and clearly from the country. Is this what people were wearing in the big cities now?
Her feet stop in their tracks as she sees a flower shop through the misty air. Bare feet lead her to the window front as she raises on her tiptoes to look at them closer. At the sight of the roses, however, she feels a lump form in her throat, turning away quickly, and almost runs into a nearby person. The tall man curses at her in another language, a language she didn't know, and she feels her chest tighten in anger at his rudeness. "Sorry. I didn't see you there, Sir." She quickly says, trying to hide the fact that her eyes were growing misty at the memories that rushed through her mind. Kay.
Lightly, she pushes past him to go down the street, but he grabs her arm. "So where's the play you're in, hmmm? What's your hurry, darling?" Her eyes widen, and she pulls her arm out of his grasp. "Please. Don't touch me."
