I understand. Hugs. I lost one of my rescues last December. (he was old and already sick when he got to me years ago) was sad over him for months. I guess the small consolation is that you know kitty had a good life?

Cool, thanks! I know comparing struggles makes no sense, so that's not what i want to do, but i think what we as white allies need, is help tackling the issue. I have wanted to smack some sense into people but we may need a joint strategy. Thoughts?

Would you be interested in joining a google doc? I’ve seen good examples of talking points generally needed in say abortion rights.  Maybe something like that?  Proof that systemic racism is real and that Trump and Pence are racists, homophobic, ableist, transphobic that are going to make everyone’s life worse if they’re not rich white cis straight and able bodied.

So like a combination of links as well as some tips on how to win over people ie staying calm, sticking up for marginalized people when you’re not marginalized yourself often makes your voice more likely to be paid attention to by the non marginalized so be confident.

Nah no secret at all! Part of it is reworking an old cosplay, a good friend of mine 3D printed a teapot for me to use as a prop because the last one I had kinda fell apart and didn’t look that great anyways :U But for day 1 I’m gonna be Greg from Over The Garden Wall with my friend, and on day 2 I’m gonna be Midoriya from My Hero Academia! I’m pretty psyched, but also worried but thats nothing new haha.
