This morning, a walk through Lettuce Lake Park and a familiar John Denver song made me stop and think. I realized I was walking on a path someone else had carefully designed—clear, safe, and lined with guardrails. It made me wonder how different life might be if our own journeys came with that kind of certainty. They don't. But maybe we have something even better.
