It makes a difference in what we think, how we relate to others, and our desire to please God. There is power in prayer, hope, and faith that opens the door to eternal life in Heaven.

Filed a leave today para sa aking ortho appointment. Yes, you heard it right… tumatanda na ata ako, charot! Hahaha. Real talk… dati, leave meant gala or travel, ngayon ? leave means maintenance para sa bones. Ganito na pala ang buhay but I’m not complaining! 🤣

Since may 2-hour wait pa ako before my turn, I decided to just hang out at a quiet coffee shop to make the most of my tito day out. Perfect timing din kasi I finally got the chance to start reading the book that was sent to me yesterday. Galing siya kay Miss E, our former accounting manager. She didn't hand it to me personally but she made sure I received it complete with her own personal dedication which honestly touched me.

If you know her, you know she’s a woman of real wisdom. I was so surprised when I found out she actually produced books from her 90-day writing challenge… nakaka-flatter lang talaga na she thought of me and my love for reading. Currently sipping my hot latte and munching on langka turon 🤤 like a pro. Nothing beats a good book and a heavy snack while waiting for my name to be called. Para hindi masyadong ramdam ang paghihintay, ‘di ba?

After all, a good book is a faithful friend and taking the time to nourish your mind is the best way to spend a day off. Looking forward to finishing this while I wait for my turn. Definitely making the most of this adulting day!
