Made this pot for a final, lol. It's based upon Magdalene Odundo's beautiful art style. I highly recommend you check out her work! She doesn't use a wheel she makes coil pots and pulls them up to make a perfectly smooth surface. She's also featured in around 50 museums, including the British museum.

Also I didn't mean to make this piece magnus archives themed it was totally unintentional my instructor said it would look cool with worms cuase it was a flower pot and it just spiraled (heh) from there.

This is from my first semester of hand-building. I struggled with this piece a lot as I made it and ended up cutting out and rebuilding several large sections along the way. It's glazed with a fake ash glaze with rutile that I mixed myself. I still don't love this piece but it was a big learning experience for wrangling challenging pieces into something that feels complete
