DIY skincare products
Right now I’m making almost all my own skincare products. I’m a real newbie when it comes to this, but it’s really fun! Thing is I don’t really know if it’s better then buying the already made stuff, it takes a lot of packaging having all the right oils and emulsifiers and so on, and I want to use great skincare (yes, I’m kinda nerdy here) and not just coconut oil cause that just clogs my face up.
The skincare I’ve made works so well though. I’ve got my homemade facial cream, body butter, lip balm, cold cream and toner.
Today I made a new batch of Cold cream, I use it as a cleansing balm and moisturizer and it’s actually really simple to make. I got the recipe from Organic Makers (sorry, Swedish website) but I changed it a bit using macadamia oil, beeswax, aloe vera juice and emulsifier. This little mixture works nice as a hand cream as well and is sososo nice during the cold winter months.
