You came up from behind me because I kept ignoring you. I was talking to others until we were left alone. You pouted at my ignorance until I turned around. When we embraced I didn’t feel the butterflies or the warmth seeping into my heart. I felt cold. Cold because you were with him and not me. Cold because you still find time to make me a part of your day. Cold because you still grab my hand or play with my skin. Cold because you give me the same look as the day I fell for you.  Cold. Cold. Cold. It was because of your cold that I wanted to give you a chance.
