One slender leg was dangling off of the golden arm rest of the throne where the Queen sat in a position that would undoubtedly make her ancestors curse from where they were watching her. Since the King's suspicious passing half a year ago, his daughter had taken upon the role of ruler of the Kingdom even though it was against the law simply because she was born female. Ah, all those old men with their stupid laws. It had honestly been a delight to watch their shocked faces when she had let go of them and instead introduced her very own counselors, ministers and guards all made of females. Though their shock had been nothing compared to how they looked when she had married the daughter of their longtime enemy. It was indeed priceless, and the sole thought of the unconcealed revulsion on their features still made her grin.
Said daughter, her wife, who was standing in front of her, pretty as always in a gown made of the finest materials but with storms in the depth of her eyes. That was that same look that had Minki feeling drawn to her, though she'd never admit it out loud. The knife she had been toying with for the past few minutes was slipped back into its leather sheath that was wrapped around her left thigh.
Slowly, she rose and crossed the distance between Charity and herself and once she was close enough held her wife's chin between her fingers. "What did I do to make you think that I'd surrender to such weak emotions?" Minki asked in a low tone and leaned forward until their lips were brushing together. "Was it when I ate you out and made you scream my name from delirious pleasure? Or was it when you rode my fingers in the bath and begged me for release?" The furious blush that adorned Charity's face following Minki's lascivious words was endearing and she couldn't stop herself from smirking. What a sweet thing. "Fondness? Don't dream of it. Power and respect, though, that I can give you. A voice that will be heard, isn't it more important than those foolish emotions books are filled with? Now, come, follow me. I'll make you forget about your troubles."
