3rd oldest brother of the infamous Hutsons, behind former Terrier teammates Quinn (Edmonton Oilers) and Lane (Montreal Canadiens), younger brother Lars is in his early teens
Cole has said with both his older brothers already at Boston University, there was really no other choice for him to go for his college career!

4th oldest in his family; has a twin brother, Caden, and three older brothers Billy, Chris, and Shane. Shane was a 4th round draft pick to the Ottawa Senators, otherwise the rest of his family is involved in the military. Eisy famously attended Shattuck-St. Mary's and roomed with Macklin Celebrini.
He almost didn't attend Boston University; his family has ties to the Minnesota Golden Gophers who he had verbally committed to, but he switched to BU last minute due to family-related events.

THE SHIP: COLE SQUARED
So why should you ship them? Honestly, the easiest answer is that these two have been friends for years (they have said they've known each other since they were seven years-old) and since joining the NTDP in 2022, they've played on every team together. From Michigan to Boston, the Coles have been inseparable. They're literally roommates, spend time with each other's families (I'm not posting because children but there are several pictures of Hutty holding little Eiserman nieces on his lap at Eiserman family events), have their delightfully awkward coffee review TikToks, and are just plain weird about each other. Hutty is the quieter of the two with a more subtle sense of humor (ignore his whole obsession with 6 7...) while Eisy is a known yapper who will talk to anyone who listens to him (or doesn't). They're just the best of friends, are comfortable around each other, and wherever one is, the other is never far behind.
Long story short: they've been in love the whole time, and it existed long before Hutty's scary injury. So come and join me in loving their weirdness - they're just two dumb 19 year-old boys who have weathered this hockey adventure together, remained close friends, and wandered directly into "Are they friends?" "Worse!" territory with gusto!
