my thoughts and feelings after reading Danica's post about glee:
1. i feel bad because now i feel like a bad gleek somehow for wishing i was as passionate as i am.
2. i still really want glee to end (for better or worse) after this season. (so no S5.)
3. i want to do a news story about the power of fandoms. i really think it could be an interesting piece. i want to explore what it is about certain things that incite passion? is it just entertainment or is there more to it? and if there is more to it, what's the "more"? and how does this "more"-ness eventually create a fandom - a community of like-minded fans who are all so passionate about this one thing that they'll drop any other differences just to bond over their mutual love of the thing? this is what i want to explore.
i want to turn my passion for glee into creativity and creation. i want to create art out of "fun".
