New hat just off the needles. This is a really quick knit thanks to the super bulky yarn and 12 mm needles. I knit a ribbed piece of fabric long enough to wrap around my head, then I sew it together in the back and on top. It might not be the prettiest design, but it's snuggly and warm and I love the colors.
New yarn in the mail today :) it has been forever since I last knitted anything, but fall is approaching rapidly and we all know what that means: winter is coming! Bought myself two skeins of Colinette Point 5 in both Bright Charcoal and Blue Saturn. Sadly, from what I gather at least, Colinette is no longer making yarn and the supply that's out there is the last of their wonderful yarns. It makes me sad, but at least I will have two great hats to keep me warm come winter.
