Accept and embrace the end of the Anthropocene (The Age of Industrial Man) which was always inherently unsustainable as well as the end of most complex life on this planet (The Ongoing Sixth Great Mass Extinction Event).

There is no 25-year outlook. Mathematically and statistically speaking, there is no more than 10 years remaining on the current course. But let us take a look at a 25-year outlook anyways:

25 more years will equate to at least 75 ppm more CO2 being added into the atmosphere, bringing us to a whopping grand total 500 ppm. We will not be able to survive this as a civilization or continue to climate engineer ourselves out of this problem like we have been surreptitiously doing or witnessing during the last 75 years. Another moment like Dr. Edward Teller joining international scientists in declaring a planetary climate emergency back in 1998 will not occur. Or any new ideas other than Dr. Teller's and the international climate scientists' urging of spraying ice-nucleating and sunlight reflecting chemicals/aerosols behind high-flying jet tankers, called atmospheric geoengineering, to immediately be deployed globally. Global powers actually immediately deployed this right after 1945, and the 1998 call for immediate climate intervention action was only a call to further ramp up ongoing global operations. The only new ideas engaged in since then by the global community have been to incinerate Earth's last remaining forests to mimic the temporary cooling effects of a volcanic eruption and the tabling of hypothetically blowing up nukes near a caldera or volcano to inject enough particulate matter into the atmosphere to provide temporary cooling (while the ionizing radiation strips away the remaining Ozone Layer)

Within 25 years there will be the Arctic Blue Ocean Event, Arctic seafloor mega-methane releases, massive tundra thaw, catastrophic global wildfires (apart of ongoing geoengineering agendas), Antarctic Circle Blue Ocean Event, and conservatively 3-10ft of rapid sea level rise (Antarctica + Greenland).

Within 25 years there is the loss of all major aquifers and the Himalayan (and other mountains) fresh water sources that serve billions of people. There is the end of the oil age along with cheap energy and the industrial economy. Global breadbasket collapse scenarios from climate and weather catastrophes and from biosphere collapse. Wild fisheries are absolutely certain to be completely exhausted and shutdown within two decades whilst they currently feed 2 billion people or more.

Currently, the aerosol masking effect (jet aerosol dispersions, wildfires, industrial pollution, and volcanoes) and powerful atmospheric bombardment of non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation (via ionosphere heaters), threaten to collapse the functional Ozone Layer within a decade. Intense UV has been absolutely decimating trees, plants, crops, insects, plankton, super-heating exposed surfaces, and even burning humans. The constant ramping up of the aerosol masking effect and the 'effectiveness' of solar radiation management operations (maintaining constant artificial cloud cover/haze) has hidden this to some extent. However, after a functional Ozone Layer collapse, more extreme ultraviolet radiation (UVB/UVC) and soft x-rays will be reaching the Earth's surface uninhibited, sterilizing all exposed lifeforms very quickly from the bottom up towards the top of the food chain.

Within 25 years, wet bulb conditions and high temperatures threaten to render the tropics uninhabitable and bring extreme heat stress and indexes to all parts of the world. Photosynthesis stops at 40C and tapers down up to that point. There will not be enough air conditioning for all humans, the grids globally will be collapsing, and nor will there be the ability to work outdoors anymore in such conditions. Crops will collapse and so will civility. Billions will either die or attempt to migrate.

Within 25 years, humans will probably become thoroughly mentally retarded from all the exposure to toxic air pollution, contaminated water, non-ionizing/ionizing radiation, industrial chemicals/waste, plastics, and processed foods. The larger the organism, the longer it takes to breakdown and to succumb to severe debilitation or death. The Earth is at blinding speed turning into a very toxic soup and we are all absorbing it into our bodies and becoming ever increasing toxic sponges by the day.

Within 25 years, all the bull**** jobs and economically extractable resources will disappear and with them all of the retirement, pension, stock, housing asset vehicle, life insurance, and education schemes will no longer matter. Anyone on this sub should be aware of Easter Island and overshoot, and the ultimate fate awaiting the human race. Insofar, they must also understand the decisions the global elites will be forced to make when the 'time' or 'event' comes to cut all their losses and responsibilities towards the crumbling paradigm, the starving masses, the destroyed planetary life support systems, the decimated biosphere, and the unfolding abrupt climate collapse. Those in power are ultimately not here to help populations survive through collapse, this is in regard to those who print the fiat, control militaries, pump the oil, monopolize all of the major media houses and think-tanks, and engage in the surreptitious global climate engineering operations.

Now the explanation about the end of most complex life on this planet (lets go with collapse in 25 years). A conservative main sequence of events: 500 ppm CO2 + 2500 ppb CH4 + 365 ppb N2O; loss of the aerosol massing effect; functional Ozone Layer collapse; abrupt climate collapse; seafloor mega-methane releases; tundra thaw; ocean super-heating and acidification; runaway greenhouse event; and biosphere collapse. Now onto many other important variables: a limited nuclear exchange (nuclear winter); nuclear power plant meltdowns (cores and fuel rods) and the ionizing radiation stripping away the atmospheric layers and sterilizing the planet; eventual Canfield Ocean scenario (acidified, deoxygenated, super-heated, and lifeless oceans); and all of humanity's pollution and the eventual pollution from the destruction/decay of industrial societies that will severely contaminate the entire biosphere. This equates to total planetary omnicide and the end of most complex life on this planet on the current course.

Those in power will retreat to their deep underground military bases while the extremely rich will flee to their bunkers or underground installations. However, they will not survive a runaway greenhouse event or a Venus Syndrome scenario, total biosphere collapse, and nuclear cataclysm. It is basically just dying underground with extra steps for the elite. They actually could have inherited the planet for themselves if they carried this retreat out two or three decades ago. However, a malignant cancer doesn't care if it ultimately dies, it only cares that it was allowed to continue expanding and proliferating unchecked until the host (i.e., our habitable Earth) eventually dies in the process (from militarized-industrialized civilization). We are not dealing with a sane benign cancer in power nor a sane global population that only wants to be entertained with bread and circuses and be pacified with comforting false promises and mistruths until the moment of impact.
