OMG I’m so glad you like this kink. It’s super random and until I started writing stuff for it, I never thought anyone else would like the headcanons or the stories.

And YES this is exactly it. Of course, they’re corrupt and decadent. Anyone would know that just from looking at them. They prance about with their throats bared all the way down past their collarbones, and it makes Hux blush just to think about it, let alone to actually look at them.

Star Wars seedy bars! The Galaxy is vast &diverse! One planets seedy dive is another planets luxury night spot. Infinite opportunities for comedic misunderstandings. Bars around space ports are pretty similar everywhere but venture off the beaten track & a young FO officer might find a brothel full of individuals with their collarbones on display (it's actually a tea house, it's a humid country, no one knows why these kids in black show up for half an hour, hyperventilate, then leave a huge tip)

YAHS. They’re terribly traumatized, but it’s also like looking at the weirdest peep show in the world. What’s even worse for the poor FO officers is that the other patrons don’t seem to notice how scandalous it is. Like, people just sit and have tea with one another, and they don’t even say anything. None of them even blush.

And it’s not like the FO officers don’t know that the rest of the galaxy are savages who think that exposing their collarbones is perfectly fine. They know. But it still seems completely obscene that they could be this absurdly free with such a private place.

On the practical side, I feel like the FO has advanced enough medical technology that they are able to compensate for these sorts of congenital disorders. So I bet that there are gene therapies they use to fix malfunctioning genes in children who would potentially inherit disorders.

On the lighthearted side: Nah. You’d actually be seen as super cool, because collarbones are hella taboo. Like, imagine that in the FO having a collarbone fetish like having a serious watersports kink. It’s not unheard of, or even exactly frowned upon - there’s porn for it, after all - it’s just really taboo.

Yes. This is definitely why Hux has Milli. She’s the most appropriate of all animals, and has no awkward need to wear tiny cat-dresses to cover up inappropriate collarbones.

I almost wrote 'I don't have collar bones', lol, which is not true, they're there...but they are not super noticeable bc of pudge. So in this universe, is the collarbone taboo stronger if they're very prominent? Can you get away with wearing certain things if yours are not?

But no, prominence of collarbones doesn’t determine how taboo they are. It’s the idea of them that matters. Think about it like this: people with smaller breasts in US society can get away with wearing lower necklines. That is not like FO collarbone taboo.

FO collarbone taboo is like wearing pants. You have to wear pants and/or a skirt in public. You might be able to get away with wearing a swimsuit, but it has to cover stuff to be appropriate in the US. This is like FO collarbone taboo. You gotta cover it up, no matter what it looks like. ;)
