The ocelot (Leopardus pardalis) is a medium-sized spotted wild cat with a that appearance is similar to that of the domestic cat.
Ocelots are graceful and slender cats.
The Collared Sparrowhawk (Accipiter cirrocephalus) is a small, slim bird of prey with wide staring bright yellow eyes. Collared Sparrowhawk rely on trees or tall shrubs for cover to ambush their prey, darting out to catch small birds.
Often times the the Collared Sparrowhawk sits quietly in trees and are very easily overlooked.
The Collared sparrowhawk (Accipiter cirrocephalus) is a close relative of the Brown goshawk distinguished by its long tail and slender legs. They are versatile in terms of habitat, happily taking large birds in either woodlands, jungles, or urban areas. They can be found throughout Australia and New Guinea, as well as some other outlying islands.
Like many accipiters, the Collared sparrowhawk is not threatened by extinction, and is classed as Least Concern by the IUCN.
